Yah! This awesome October wedding is up on the blog today! And we couldn’t be more excited to share it! Hannah and Chris had a beautiful Hayfields country club wedding, a sister club to Turf Valley resort, with a stunning pond, spacious grounds and main club house. During the pandemic the club did renovations so the ballroom looked very different from when I was last there in 2014 photographing florals for Victoria Clausen.
Referrals are so incredible. I can’t even think what life would look like not to have a relationship with people. Ashley and Joe are one of those couples. They found us through one of our past couples Abby and Eric, one of our 2016 couples. Ashley and Joe are wonderful people. And their families are also so sweet. We met Ashley and Joe in person at their engagement shoot and what was probably one of the hottest engagement sessions of the entire year, maybe even two years. Joe had just returned from Kuwait from deployment so we were so pumped to be able to spend some time with him pre-wedding day and get to know them at dinner.
Ohh yah! Okay, so this is a really cold weather but beautiful session! Lauren reached out to me via Instagram and then we made our excitement a reality and Lauren and Nick booked me for their engagement session in Fells Point. These guys did awesome! While it was windy, chilly and hands eventually got too cold to do anything, these guys totally had fun together. Lauren and Nick, thanks for meeting me downtown and cruising around with me for your session. We are so excited for you and hope you enjoy every minute of this season!
Ekk, this session I’m so excited to blog! First off, I met Johnna years ago through Turf Valley and her sister Nicole who is one of my good friends. Love her to pieces! When Nicole AND Johnna both reached out to tell me that Johnna and Josh wanted to hire us for their wedding, we were elated, and so honored. Our time with Josh and Johnna was soo much fun. I’m not sure if we liked their session more, or talking about life, houses, and hobbies over some amazing CPK food! They dominated their session, and there was a little hazieness in the air that made it dreamy, suspenseful and romantic! Johnna and Josh, we are so pumped for you! We are going to have the most fun day with you guys!
We are so excited to share Kayleigh and Clark’s beautiful winter wedding! Maggie and Patrick photographed their micro-wedding almost a year before, so I was thrilled to be able to document them celebrating their marriage with all of their family and friends. This was our first time shooting at Vignon Manor Farm, and I was so impressed by the gorgeous venue!
This wedding is sooo special for me to post because it’s my cousin Kellie’s wedding! This wedding was beautiful, fun, and probably the most I’ve ever danced at a wedding. And it was the first wedding I photographed AS A BRIDESMAID! #goals… but this wedding isn’t about me, so I’m gonna just dive right in!
Kellie and Evan had a magical day. It may have been windy and cold but dang these two dominated the day, their wedding party and their families. The morning started out at the resort while the guys and the gals got ready. The guys were at a beach front house and the girls in a suite overlooking the beautiful OBX beach. These two shared a beautiful first look close to where they would be saying I Do and as a result, we got to see the day really come t together. I loved Evans response to seeing my cousin Kellie!
When your bride tells you that she’s coming in on a firetruck, you know it’s gonna be a fun wedding. Meredith and Joey had a STUNNING Turf Valley wedding… their color palette vivacious and regal! I love that they weren’t afraid to go BOLD and colorful. I personally love when bouquets look killer against complimentary bridesmaids dresses!
From the first look, to the sweet tears of daughters, to fake money being thrown at reception, and guests wheeling in on luggage carts, this wedding sure made memories for all.
Their wedding was darling. Records were placemats, the tables names were font families. These two graphic designers showed their skill in the creation of their invitations and place cards. My personal favorite was their first look. Joe’s response and also his surprise songwriting with singing and playing the guitar to Stephanie was just beautiful. Their wedding day was focused on Jesus and people. The majority of their reception was full of toast, guests sharing words of wisdom, encouragement, stories and more to the couple.
