Maggie + Austin’s Wedding at Renault Winery

There are some wedding days that seem to have a little bit of everything: beautiful details, a gorgeous venue, an emotional first look, a packed dance floor, and a wedding party willing to spray champagne everywhere at sunset. Maggie and Austin’s wedding at Renault Winery was absolutely one of those days! From the moment we arrived, we knew we were going to have SO much fun with these two and their people.

One of the best parts about having everything in one location is how relaxed the beginning of the wedding day can feel. Maggie and Austin both got ready right at Renault Winery surrounded by their closest friends and family.

Maggie’s details were absolutely beautiful. Her soft green and white color palette carried throughout the entire day, from the invitation suite and florals to the bridesmaids’ dresses and reception details. And can we talk about those pearl wedding shoes?! 😍

While Maggie was getting into her dress with her girls, Austin was hanging out with his guys getting ready for the day. There were already plenty of laughs happening on both sides, which was a pretty good indication of what the rest of the wedding was going to be like!

Maggie and Austin decided to do a first look, which allowed us to photograph almost everything before the ceremony.

And their first look was SO sweet. We found an incredible spot near the pond at Renault Winery where Austin waited for Maggie. The second he turned around and saw her, you could see every emotion hit him at once. Those are the moments we absolutely love about first looks—the nerves disappear, the wedding day slows down for a few minutes, and the couple actually gets to be together before everything really begins.

Afterward, we were able to explore the property for portraits, and Renault seriously gives photographers SO MUCH to work with.

Between the pond, gardens, flowering bushes, vineyards, beautiful architecture, stone buildings and open lawns, there seemed to be another amazing photo location everywhere we turned. Maggie and Austin looked incredible, and we especially loved photographing them tucked into all of those gorgeous pink flowers around the property.

Because they chose to do their first look, we were also able to knock out wedding party and family portraits before the ceremony. That meant once they were officially married, they could actually enjoy their cocktail hour and spend time celebrating with everyone who came to see them. We will forever be fans of that!

The weather showed off for their outdoor ceremony. Guests gathered on the lawn surrounded by greenery and flowers with Renault Winery as the backdrop. Maggie and Austin exchanged vows beneath a beautiful wooden arbor, surrounded by the people who have loved and supported them throughout their relationship.

After all the anticipation of the morning, watching them finally become husband and wife was such a sweet moment.

And then it was officially time to PARTY. Before heading completely into reception mode, we stole the wedding party outside around sunset for one of our favorite moments of the entire day. Champagne spray! Everyone gathered on the lawn, bottles started popping, champagne went EVERYWHERE, and the entire thing turned into exactly the kind of organized chaos we love photographing. 😂

These are always some of our favorite wedding-day images because nobody can completely control what happens. You just pop the bottle, start spraying and see where it goes!

The sunset light, the champagne flying through the air, and Maggie and Austin surrounded by their wedding party made for such a fun set of photographs.

The reception space was stunning. White draping covered the ceiling, chandeliers hung overhead, greenery and florals filled the room, and beautiful green accents tied everything together. We loved the long sweetheart table surrounded by candles and florals, and all of the little personalized details Maggie and Austin incorporated throughout the room.

But as beautiful as everything looked, the PEOPLE made this reception. There were heartfelt speeches, lots of hugs and plenty of laughter before the band took over and the celebration really got going.

And this crowd knew how to party. Once the dance floor opened, it stayed busy. There was dancing, singing, drinks in the air, bridesmaids hitting the floor—literally 😂—and the kind of reception where you can tell everyone came ready to celebrate these two.

Maggie and Austin were right in the middle of it all. Maggie + Austin, Congratulations! What a wedding.
