Sydney + Jordans Romantic Summer Wedding at Belmong Manor
Sydney and Jordan’s wedding day at Belmont Manor & Historic Park was one of those summer weddings that felt romantic, intentional, and completely centered around the people they love most. From a meaningful morning at Sydney’s mom’s house to their garden ceremony beneath the trees and a packed dance floor under the reception tent, their day was beautiful from beginning to end.
Sydney chose to spend the morning getting ready at her mom’s house, which made the beginning of the wedding day feel especially personal. We photographed all of her beautiful details there—the invitation suite, rings, shoes, florals, and those soft pink and green touches that carried throughout the day. But one of the most meaningful moments of the morning had nothing to do with wedding details.
Sydney’s dad passed away, and she wanted to find a way to honor both him and her mom on her wedding day. She surprised her mom with an incredible watercolor painting of the three of them together. It was such a sweet way to acknowledge that while her dad couldn’t physically be there, he was absolutely still part of their family and part of this day. Seeing that gift sitting in the very room where everyone got ready was one of those quiet wedding-day moments that reminds us why photographs matter so much.
Once everyone arrived at Belmont Manor, Sydney and Jordan shared a first look in the gardens. And this is exactly why we love first looks.
They got a moment together before everything really began, and afterward we were able to photograph their portraits, wedding party, and family photos before the ceremony. It meant that once Sydney and Jordan were officially married, there wasn’t a giant list of formal photographs waiting for them. They could actually go enjoy their wedding!
Belmont Manor gave us so many gorgeous options for portraits, from the manicured gardens and greenery to the pond, pathways, mature trees, and the beautiful architecture throughout the property. Sydney’s classic fitted gown and long veil looked incredible against all of that green, and Jordan’s black tux was the perfect timeless complement. Their wedding party also looked amazing in a mix of soft sage and deeper green dresses alongside classic black suits.
Sydney and Jordan were married outside in Belmont’s gardens near the pond, tucked beneath the property’s huge trees.
The ceremony design was simple and beautiful, allowing the setting itself to do so much of the work. Soft draping and arrangements filled with whites, greens, and touches of pink framed the ceremony while the surrounding gardens created the backdrop. Sydney walked down the aisle to Jordan, they exchanged vows surrounded by their closest family and friends, and officially became husband and wife in one of the prettiest spots on the property.
After the ceremony, guests headed to cocktail hour outside the reception tent while Sydney and Jordan were able to actually enjoy being newlyweds. Inside, the tent was completely transformed.
White draping covered the ceiling with chandeliers hanging overhead, greenery climbed the columns around the dance floor, and gold chairs and chargers brought warmth to the soft floral palette. The tables were filled with beautiful arrangements of hydrangeas, roses, greenery, and touches of pink.
It felt elegant without being overly formal—the perfect summer garden reception. And the food deserves a mention too! From dinner to the dessert spread, there was no shortage of incredible food waiting for everyone inside.
The reception was full of the things we love most: heartfelt speeches, lots of laughter, emotional moments, and a dance floor that did not disappoint.
Sydney and Jordan were surrounded by people who were clearly thrilled to celebrate them, and once dancing started, the tent turned into a PARTY.
The jackets came off. The sunglasses came out. Drinks were in hand. Everyone hit the dance floor.
Before we wrapped for the night, we snuck Sydney and Jordan away for nighttime portraits in the gardens. The trees lit up behind them made the property look completely different after dark and gave us such a romantic ending to their gallery.
Sydney and Jordan, congratulations!! Your wedding was absolutely beautiful, but even more than that, it was filled with so much meaning, family, laughter, and love. We are so grateful we got to photograph it all.
