There are some engagement sessions that feel less like a photo session and more like spending an evening wandering around the city with friends — and Lindsay and Andrew’s Fells Point engagement session was absolutely one of those.
We met these two in Baltimore and spent the evening exploring some of our favorite little pockets around Fells Point. Between the cobblestone streets, waterfront views, brick buildings, ivy-covered walls, hidden gardens, and boats in the harbor, this neighborhood seriously never disappoints for engagement photos. Every few minutes, we found another spot we wanted to use!
But Lindsay and Andrew made our jobs ridiculously easy.
These two are FUN together. The kind of couple who can go from a beautiful, classic portrait to laughing hysterically two seconds later. We walked, danced, snuggled, ran around the streets, and of course had to get a few epic lifts and dips in there too. Their chemistry is so natural, and we loved how much personality came through in their photos.
They started the session in a light, summery look that was perfect for the waterfront, and then switched things up with a slightly dressier outfit as we made our way through the city. Lindsay’s white dresses against all the brick and greenery were so pretty, and Andrew’s navy jacket was PERFECT once the sun started going down.
One of our favorite things about photographing in Fells Point is how much variety we can create without ever really leaving the neighborhood. Lindsay and Andrew’s gallery goes from bright and airy portraits against clean architecture, to romantic waterfront photos, to classic Baltimore cobblestone streets — and then the whole feel of the session changed again once blue hour arrived.
And YES, we kept shooting after sunset. 🙌
Those final photos in the middle of the cobblestone street with the city lights glowing behind them are some of our favorites from the entire night. They feel romantic, fun, and just a little cinematic — especially when Andrew picked Lindsay up right in the middle of the street!
After we wrapped up their engagement session, the four of us headed to dinner together, which might have been one of our favorite parts of the night. We love when an engagement session gives us the chance to actually hang out with our couples and get to know them beyond wedding planning and photography. By the end of the evening, it felt much more like a double date than work.
Lindsay and Andrew, you two were an absolute blast. If your engagement session is any indication of what your wedding is going to be like, we already know we’re in for an incredible day. We cannot WAIT to celebrate with you two and get you back in front of our cameras again!
Here are some of our favorites from their Fells Point engagement session! 🤍
