We are so excited to share this wedding for lots of reasons! First off, Amanda and Dillon have become really cool friends. Though we don’t see each other super often, Amanda and Maggie get to run into each other at pretty cool events like Cake and Whiskey, a women in business networking event.

Amanda is a Fashion Designer so you know her wedding was going to have lots of detail, personality and flare! Showing up at her parents house that day was so special for a lot of reasons. Upon entering the house, Amanda had her beautiful BHLDN dress on a bodice as she finalized her final touches on her dress. After a dress fiasco with a different boutique, Amanda finally finding her dream dress at BHLDN but she decided she was going to alter the dress herself. On the back of the dress she added a really cool element that almost looks like wings. We loved it! The details we had for styling their invitation and a really cool ring box were some of my favorites. Especially her parents coffee table. Wait until you see the colors and how awesome it worked with her their details.

Some of the most unique parts of their wedding were the wedding day elements that were handpicked or handmade, because after all, when a designer is the bride, she’s going to have a hand in her day. She loved her venue but wanted to make it even prettier and had the outdoor area draped in gorgeous white sheers and the fern walls were awesome. I especially loved the fern wall backdrop to their sweet heart table and all the little details throughout reception that Amanda and Dillon love. Part of our dream team was Emerald Event Design. She was a total rockstar and the lounge area was so spunky and cool with the bold colors. Amanda and Dillon sat in their lounge during speeches which was so sweet and enjoyable.

The guests danced as the sun set over a gorgeous golf course at Mountain Branch Golf Club. A sweet cake cutting, actually 2 cake cuttings, as Amanda surprised Dillon with a Grooms Cake (yah West Virginia!) As you scroll through the post it’s so evident how excited these guys were for their wedding day. Amanda and Dillon are so sweet with each other from their First look, Dillons tears as he reads a love note from Amanda, and vows that bring tears and laughter.

Amanda and Dillon, we loved being part of your wedding day. Thank you for including us. We can’t wait to see you both again!
