It’s Friday and we are about to be sharing a handful of weddings from the past month. We have officially entered fall and winter wedding season. We have 17 weddings left between now and Christmas, which is only 14 weeks away!
Today on the blog we are sharing Tracy and Patricks August wedding. They had a beautiful ceremony at Loyola Chapel and a packed dance floor reception at Preston Hall. Tracy and Patrick just came to our home last Saturday night for their gallery reveal so we are pretty excited to share this just a couple days after they received their images!
The day was beautiful. Tracy, her parents and her bridesmaids got ready at her childhood home in Ruxton and shared some sweet moments prior to leaving for her first look. We love residential getting ready locations especially when our brides have grown up in that house, how special! The first look is probably one of our favorite moments of the day. Patrick still is telling us how incredible it was and how thankful he is that he did a first look. In his words “it took all my anxiousness away” and he loved the intimacy and being able to talk. Gosh, I wish we had done a first look! After the first look these two were surrounded by family and friends and wedding party as we photographed all their desired segments pre-ceremony. The ceremony was a full-mass with beautiful reading by family and the sweetness between our couple was so evident (you’ll see some sweet tears as you scroll).
After ceremony we hopped on the “party bus” according to a grandfather and we headed to Preston Hall in Downtown Baltimore. Tracy and Patrick got to mingle with their guests during cocktail hour and soon would be introduced as the newlywed Mr and Mrs Kuhn.
The reception was full of laughter and smiles. The speeches from Tracy’s dad, her sister, his best man, were all so special. As Tracy danced with her dad to “My Girl,” Patrick and some of her uncles danced to a choreographed dance. The second favorite part of the day, the surprise flash mob. All the guests surprised Tracy and Patrick by learning a choreographed dance, in which our couple would laugh, cry, sit and watch from their seats. Her sisters leading the dance. So much fun! So many sweet surprises for our couple.
The night carried on after we were packed up and said goodbye, but these two were nothing short of hugs, appreciation and total love for their wedding day. My Patrick and I left their wedding so excited about this wedding and were so pumped to see these cuties this past Saturday! Friends for life, and my favorite part, is that her Aunt lives in our neighborhood, so we will really see her more than most!
