Madison + Zachary | A Joy-Filled Wedding at The Belvedere in Baltimore
From the blue-and-yellow details and the sweetest nods to their pup, to portraits along the Baltimore waterfront, a gorgeous ceremony, and a reception that absolutely came alive, this was one of those wedding days that just kept getting better as it went.
We started the day with all of Madison and Zachary’s details, and there were SO many good ones.
Their invitation suite featured soft blues paired with delicate florals, which became such a beautiful thread throughout the entire wedding day. Madison’s flowers brought in whites, buttery yellows and touches of blue, and we loved incorporating those colors into her detail photographs. But obviously, we need to talk about the dog.
Their pup made appearances throughout their wedding details—from their stationery to a photo charm tucked into Madison’s bouquet. Those are always some of our favorite things to photograph because they make the wedding gallery feel so specifically theirs.
While Madison got ready surrounded by some of the most important women in her life, Zachary spent the morning getting ready with his guys. His navy tux was SO sharp and tied perfectly into the blue tones throughout the wedding.
Before heading into the rest of the day, Madison shared a first look with her dad along the waterfront, with the Baltimore skyline behind them.
And then it was Zachary’s turn. We LOVE a first look—not only because of what it can do for a wedding-day timeline, but because it gives a couple a few minutes where the day suddenly gets quiet. After an entire morning of getting ready in separate places, they finally get to see each other and realize, Okay. We’re actually getting married today.
Madison walked toward Zachary with the Inner Harbor behind them, tapped him on the shoulder, and his reaction was the BEST.
From there, we were able to spend time photographing the two of them around Baltimore before heading to The Belvedere and Mt Vernon! Between the architecture, city sidewalks, Madison carrying that incredible lace gown, and Zachary in his navy tux, these portraits have such a classic Baltimore feel.
And can we please have a moment for Madison’s DRESS?! The lace, the silhouette, the train, the veil—absolutely stunning.
Then it was time to make it official!
The Belvedere is one of those Baltimore venues that brings the drama without needing much help. The chandeliers, gold details, historic architecture and ornate rooms create such an incredible backdrop for a wedding day.
Madison and Zachary exchanged vows surrounded by their families and friends, with beautiful blue, white and yellow florals framing the ceremony space.
One of our favorite things about this wedding was how effortlessly the entire aesthetic moved between classic and FUN. Everything was beautiful and elevated without the day ever feeling overly formal.
That balance continued right into cocktail hour and family portraits. We took advantage of The Belvedere’s incredible interiors for some gorgeous family photographs, including portraits in front of that iconic fireplace.
Once the reception started, everyone was READY.
The ballroom looked incredible beneath the chandeliers, filled with candlelight, florals and gold accents. Madison and Zachary celebrated with their people, danced with their parents, toasted with family and friends and then opened up the dance floor.
And this crowd understood the assignment. 😂 There was dancing. There was beer. There were pretzels. There were desserts.
And yes…
THERE WAS A CANNOLI GUY.
You know you’ve planned a great wedding when the evening involves a man making fresh cannolis for your guests.
This is exactly the kind of reception we love photographing because there is something happening everywhere you turn. The polished portraits are beautiful, but the photographs of your parents dancing, your friends losing it on the dance floor, someone grabbing another cannoli, and everyone genuinely having the time of their lives? Those are the images that bring the whole story together.
Madison + Zachary, Congratulations!
Madison and Zachary, your wedding was absolutely beautiful, but even more than that—it was FUN.
You surrounded yourselves with people who clearly adore you, incorporated details that felt completely personal to the two of you, and created a celebration that was elegant without taking itself too seriously.
From the waterfront first look to the Baltimore city portraits, the gorgeous rooms of The Belvedere, your families, your incredible crew of friends, the dancing and—of course—the cannolis, there was so much personality packed into this day.
Thank you for trusting us to photograph it all. 🤍
Congratulations, Mr. + Mrs.! We hope married life includes just as much laughter, dancing, good food, and maybe an occasional cannoli guy. 🥂
