Taryn and Rolland’s engagement session at Atlantis Bahamas felt like stepping into a tropical dream. What started as a conversation at breakfast turned into a planned, styled, and spontaneous session around the resort.
While most engagement sessions take place close to home, there is something unforgettable about documenting a couple’s love story in a destination that feels adventurous and exciting. Atlantis provided the perfect backdrop, offering stunning beaches, vibrant architecture, lush tropical gardens, and endless ocean views.
Taryn’s vibrant pink floral dress brought such energy and joy to the entire session. Against the turquoise waters and swaying palm trees, every image felt colorful, romantic, and full of life.
We began exploring some of the iconic areas throughout the resort before heading toward the beach. The contrast between the grand resort architecture and the natural beauty of the Caribbean created incredible variety throughout the session.
One moment we were photographing beneath towering palm trees, and the next we were walking barefoot along the shoreline as waves rolled onto the sand.
Of course, some of our favorite images happened when Taryn and Roland simply embraced the experience together. Laughing in the ocean breeze, holding hands along the beach, and soaking in the beauty around them, they made every photograph feel effortless.
Destination engagement sessions often create a unique sense of freedom. Without the distractions of everyday life, couples can focus entirely on each other, and that feeling was evident throughout the entire evening.
As the sun lowered over the island and the warm tropical light wrapped around them, we captured some of our favorite portraits of the session—images that feel both timeless and adventurous.
