A week ago yesterday, my mom, me and my sister-in-law Lauren, ventured up to NYC via bus and spent the weekend celebrating my sister and brother-in-law, who are soon-to-be parents! They are expecting in May!
The baby shower on Saturday morning was at St. Balmain, a coffee shop in downtown Brooklyn in NYC, started by my sister and brother-in-law and a few other couples. If you’re in NYC, you gotta stop by and let them know we sent you. The Nutelatte (Nutella + Latte) is the best!
The shower was wonderful and wonderful!

It’s surreal to think that in that belly is a precious little baby. What a beautiful miracle. I already love this little “peanut.”
Meet Lauren… she’s my sister-in-law… she’s become one of my close friends and I’m so thankful that she married my brother, Zach!

After the baby shower, we went out to the back patio just to have some laughs… it was a stunning mid-60 degree day and the sun was shining! A great day to love on Katie and her baby!
This is my sister Becky. She is stunning. She has lived in NYC for a little over a year. She fits in so well. I’m so proud of her.
What a great day celebrating Katie, Matt and the little baby. The bets are on… some of us think it’s a girl and some think it’s a boy. We shall see what May brings!
