So there’s this super cute girl named Crystal engaged to this really tall sweet guy named Mike. And they are getting hitched! Crystal and Mike are so so cute and photographing them was a blast. Crystal is a mom of 2 and Mike is a champion, taking on the role of dad now, and on their wedding day. We are so excited for these two! We loved the spot where we photographed them and golden hour was totally in our favor!! Enjoy this e-session!
Thanks to one of our amazing brides, we found the beautiful Sarah Becker! It is crazy how worlds collide because Sarah used to work at a great organization called HopeSprings, which was a client of the branding agency that Maggie used to work at prior to going full-time as a wedding photographer.
Sarah is a perfect fit for our company and it is amazing how God totally aligns people and timing. Sarah, we are honored to have you on board!
Megan and Kevin are what we like to call our Tiny & Tall couples. Megan is a cute 4’11” and Kevin is 6’2″…. I absolutely loved our time with these guys, and loved posing them.
Patrick and I had not yet visited St. Michael’s but loved our time with this couple. St. Michaels is darling, and if you have never been, take a day, and come wander. It’s quite beautiful! Oh and if you’re a bride looking for a venue.. check out the Inn at Perry Cabin!! Looks stunning!
No one would believe us if we told them we got to ride in a helicopter at an engagement session… but we did, even if it was less than 10 seconds. Kasey and Steve had the most suspenseful e-session you could imagine (well, that we’ve had at least!). Story to come…
Patrick and I left Baltimore on an afternoon before rush hour to head up to Atlantic City, New Jersey for a beach engagement session. Kasey and Steve have sentimental ties to a cute beach called Brigantine, NJ just north of Atlantic City (you can see Atlantic City from where we were). Steve grew up there in the summer growing up and his parents have a home there. We had the honor of meeting them and let me tell you… Kasey is getting a stellar mother-in-law! The weather behaved so well and our couple did fabulous!
Ekkk! We are so so excited to share this blog post!! Lauren and James are beautiful friends of ours and are getting married next May! Patrick and James have known each other since they were five, running around the neighborhood, getting hurt, making mischief and jingling all the way.
Lauren and James love downtown Annapolis so we flt it fitting to do their engagement session at the Naval Academy and down on the water in downtown Annapolis. Between James’ sense of humor and Lauren’s sweet personality, these two are darling!
I decided that Google would be my friend one day and I decided to hunt for some new locations for some of our engagement sessions. When planning Melissa and Chris’ e-session I asked them if they would be up for trying a garden I hadn’t been to. They were and so we met up at these gardens… and let me tell you… WOW! This garden was stunning. Roses galore and beautiful scenery! Wait until you see the colors surrounding this beautiful couple! Melissa and Chris… you guys did amazing! Can’t wait for our double date in the next couple of weeks!
Shannon & Robert are a super fun couple of ours. We are thrilled to be photographing their destination wedding in Sacremento, CA this coming October! We can’t wait! Their blog post is over due, but what a LOVELY time with had at the Grand Historic (Brides, take note!! This venue is beautiful!!). You guys did so great!
Patrick and I were at a bridal show when we met Connie. She wasn’t a bride, but a vendor. Connie and I hit it off and she began to tell us her story. Oh how I WISH you could have heard the beauty surrounding her vision for her wedding day. Duane and Connie incorporated beautiful elements into her wedding day. Both her mom and her grandmother passed within the last year and a half. Her mom passed first, then her grandmom. I’ll never forget when Connie shared with us that she was going to have a “different” wedding. Her two sons were to walk her down the aisle, and she would do a surprise bouquet presentation to her aunt… her mom’s identical sister. You should have seen Connie and Duane at their wedding. I’ve never seen so many smiles. These two danced as much as they could and smiled even more. Working with Connie and Duance was such an honor. These two have SO MANY FRIENDS and I think that will be very obvious once you see their guests and how much fun they had. They are loved by so many people!
We LOVE this wedding because it’s totally flavored with our city Baltimore! Their favors were crab mallets with Old Bay Spice jars. They chose the colors based on the wedding being in the evening at such a “colorful” venue, AVAM. The checkerboard dance floor and the metal truss overhead were awesome additions to their wedding day. Very unique to their ceremony… they became husband and wife on a staircase in the center of the venue.
Miriam and Michael are the cutest. We spent time with this couple at the Clyburn Arboretum and got to see them interact for the first time behind the camera. They were such naturals for their first time and it is so evident that Miriam’s heart is held sweetly by Michael. Watching them laugh, watching them be cute and smile made our time with them so enjoyable. We hardly had to give them directives they did so well!
