An Architectural Love story. Building things that last take time, understanding, patience, and a vision.

It’s not everyday that you meet a couple at a bridal show and say, gosh i love them. Most the time couples arrive at bridal shows already feeling closed off, guarded, so when you talk to them you be patient and lovingly disarm them. When I met Miriam and Michael this was not the case. From the beginning I could see how much they loved each other, they were curious and spent time wanting more info.

We’ll never forget when we did their engagement session. They created little Lego versions of themselves mounted a horse. We ventured throughout Cylburn Arboretum and found beautiful places for their portrait time. Click here to see their Cylburn Arboretum engagement session. Later in the day, they texted us Lego versions of us as photographers. It made our day. Thoughtful and sweet, just like them.

Miriam and Michael’s wedding was the fruition of so many things. They had a beautiful church wedding at First & Franklin in Baltimore City… What a venue! Might be one of my favorites! Miriam smiled the entire service and one of my favorite things was watching her sing the hymns of the service while Michael looked into her eyes with total acceptance and gratefulness that she would be his on that day. What an incredible thing to witness.

These two architects sure know how to build something. Photographing this couple was fun and joyful. They pretty much smiled and giggled the whole portrait time. Their families were wonderful to work with and despite the cold they were all fabulous. Their Baltimore Museum of Industry wedding reception was perfect for theses two. Quirky and simple, Legos included.

Miriam and Michael, we loved being part of yourwedding day. Thank you for trusting us and choosing us as your wedding photographers.
