Dang, this is a bittersweet wedding for me. Not because of the couple, but because of the memories associated with this couple and their families. I met Christina back in 2017 at her sisters wedding. Amanda and Rob were the first couple to get married. Amanda is one of 3 sisters. Christina is the oldest, followed by Amanda and then Melissa. Melissa and Jon got married 2 years later, and we were asked again by this family to photograph their wedding day. We of course were honored and didn’t hesitate. Then 2 years later, Christina and Jeremy. How freakin’ awesome.
The day was probably our coldest wedding to date. You wouldn’t even know because of the attitudes of every single person in the bridal party AND even parents. But our bride and groom get the award, because they were outside for HOURS taking photos and even if they couldnt feel their fingers by the end (and Christina was shivering) you wouldn’t tell in their photos.
The day was full, alive, and vibrant! I loved everything about the wedding. From the colors to the florals, to the ring bearers, to the decor, details… and the gown, holy moly. The Anne Barge gown was incredible. And the cathedral is one of those magnificent ones that just make you stand in awe. There’s one photo we took that shows the lighting and stain glass lighting that the church emanates. It’s just incredible.
Christina and Jeremy, just wow. I do have to say that I got emotional at one point thinking about the level of trust, friendship, and love you guys have for us. We’ve all been through so much together (that’s another story for another day) and we’ve been able to watch all these love stories flourish and grow. We can’t wait for whats ahead for you. Christina, you’re a gem. And Jeremy, all I heard all night was what an incredible man you are. I knew you were but it just kept getting affirmed all night long. Clearly you belong together and we are so pumped and forever grateful we got to both witness it and document it. Love you guys xo
