There are engagement sessions that are beautiful… and then there are engagement sessions that are just so perfectly the couple that you can’t help but smile the entire time.
Taylor and Chris gave us BOTH. 🌮💍🌸
When we started planning their engagement session, we knew we wanted to incorporate something that felt personal to them. And for Taylor and Chris, that meant one very important thing:
Taco Bell.
Yep. Taco Bell.
And we are absolutely here for it.
Starting Their Engagement Session at Taco Bell
Taylor and Chris are Taco Bell lovers, so instead of pretending their perfect date involves champagne at some fancy restaurant, we leaned all the way into something they genuinely love doing together.
We kicked off their engagement session with tacos, burritos, colorful drinks, lots of laughing, and probably one of the most entertaining engagement-session locations we’ve photographed.
And honestly? These are some of our favorite images from their session.
There’s something about photographing couples doing something they would actually do together that immediately makes the photos feel different. They relaxed, forgot about the cameras, laughed at each other, shared food, and just got to be Taylor and Chris.
It was playful. It was a little ridiculous. It was completely them.
And that is exactly what engagement photos should be.
From Tacos to a Dreamy Spring Evening
After our Taco Bell adventure, Taylor and Chris changed outfits and we headed to Historic Hampton Mansion in Towson for a completely different look.
And WOW. Spring absolutely showed off for us. 🌸
The trees were blooming, everything was green, and we had that gorgeous golden light coming through at exactly the right time. Taylor wore the sweetest floral dress with cowboy boots, Chris kept things relaxed and neutral, and suddenly we went from tacos and Baja Blasts to something straight out of a spring romance movie.
The contrast between the two parts of their session is one of the reasons we love this gallery so much.
Their Taco Bell photos tell the fun, everyday part of their relationship. The Hampton Mansion photos feel romantic, timeless, and dreamy.
Together, they tell a much better story than either location could have told on its own.
Why We Love Engagement Sessions That Feel Personal
This session is such a good reminder that your engagement photos don’t have to look like everyone else’s.
Yes, we love beautiful estates, gardens, waterfronts, city streets, and gorgeous architecture. But we also love the places that mean something to you.
Maybe that’s the restaurant where you had your first date.
Maybe it’s your favorite brewery.
Maybe it’s the neighborhood where you live.
Maybe it’s Taco Bell because tacos are basically your love language. 😂
There are no rules saying your engagement session has to be serious or perfectly polished from beginning to end. In fact, sometimes the unexpected locations give us the photographs that feel the most genuine.
We can always finish somewhere beautiful for those frame-worthy portraits — just like we did with Taylor and Chris.
