From their peaceful morning portraits to their waterfront newlywed photos and joyful celebration at The Atreeum at Soaring Timbers, every part of the day reflected the deep love these two share and the incredible community surrounding them.

Starting the Day with Portraits

One of the unique aspects of Jessica and Ben’s wedding day was their decision to complete portraits separately before the ceremony.

The slower pace of the morning allowed each of them to soak in the excitement of the day while spending time with family and friends. There was anticipation in the air, but also a calm confidence knowing that in just a few short hours they would finally become husband and wife.

These early portraits gave us the opportunity to document each of them looking their absolute best while preserving the excitement leading up to the ceremony.

A Beautiful Ceremony at St. Mary’s Church in Annapolis

Jessica and Ben exchanged vows at historic St. Mary’s Church in Annapolis, one of the area’s most iconic and beautiful Catholic churches.

The grandeur of the sanctuary, combined with the significance of the ceremony, created an atmosphere that felt both reverent and joyful. Surrounded by family and friends, they promised forever to one another in a ceremony filled with faith, emotion, and celebration.

One of our favorite parts of the day was watching their faces as they walked back down the aisle together for the very first time as husband and wife.

Portraits Inside St. Mary’s Church

Following the ceremony, we spent time capturing family portraits inside the church before taking advantage of the stunning architecture for wedding party and newlywed portraits.

The soaring ceilings, beautiful light, and timeless details of St. Mary’s provided the perfect backdrop for elegant wedding photographs that will never go out of style.

Waterfront Wedding Photos in Downtown Annapolis

After finishing portraits at the church, we headed down to the waterfront for wedding party and newlywed portraits along the water.

One of the reasons we love photographing Annapolis weddings is the incredible variety of locations available within minutes of one another. Historic architecture, sailboats, waterfront views, and charming streets all come together to create a setting that feels uniquely Maryland.

Jessica and Ben looked completely at ease together as they strolled along the waterfront, soaking in their first moments as newlyweds. The harbor views, gentle breeze, and classic Annapolis scenery made for the perfect backdrop to celebrate the beginning of their marriage.

Annapolis Hotel Dock Portraits

Before heading to the reception, we made one final stop at the docks behind the Annapolis Hotel.

The waterfront setting offered a beautiful contrast to the traditional church portraits earlier in the day. Surrounded by boats, docks, and stunning Chesapeake Bay views, Jessica and Ben shared quiet moments together before joining their guests for the evening celebration.

These portraits perfectly captured the relaxed elegance that defined their wedding day.

The celebration continued at The Atreeum at Soaring Timbers, where guests gathered to officially welcome Jessica and Ben into married life.

The venue’s bright, elegant atmosphere created the perfect setting for heartfelt toasts, joyful dances, and unforgettable moments with family and friends. Throughout the evening, laughter filled the room as guests celebrated a couple who are deeply loved by everyone around them.

From emotional speeches to packed dance floors, the reception was the perfect ending to an incredible day.
