When we aren’t photographing weddings, events, and families, I’m with the people I love.
This 4th of July Patrick and I ventured out to our Aunt Terrie and Uncle John’s home in Catonsville, walking distance to the parade… and MAN… what a blast we had.
We named this festivity… the Annual McDade Sugarfest. You will see why!
My brother is Sam Hoffman. He is a Senior at Mount De Sales. Sam and I are 10 years apart and I am in disbelief that he is a Senior, old enough to take a girl to Prom, and old enough to graduate. Whatever happen to this little kid that I once knew!?
Sam is such a stud, and yes I’m biased but I am a really proud sister. I’ve watched him grow into an amazing actor and a handsome man full of integrity and joy.
This past Saturday was his Senior Prom. He goes to Mount Saint Joseph’s High School in Baltimore. His date: The beautiful Katie Nardilillo.
This past Saturday, my brother had the honor of going to the Mount De Sales Prom with his friend Shannon. Of course being his favorite big sister, I tagged along my mom to go take pictures of Shannon and Sam meeting up, and then went with them to a Pre-Prom where they would meet up with a handful of friends.
Shannon and Sam looked stellar and so did the other girls and their dates at the Pre-Prom gathering. Everyone looked fantastic! Here are the pictures from the evening!
Hear ye, Hear ye… announcing the amazing Princess Party, where princess’ unite.
This past Saturday, Maggie spent 2 hours with 100 little princess, and their moms… I mean Queens. Trinity did a great job and put on a wonderful event for all the little girls that are part of the children’s ministry. It was done so well and of course was so sweet and beautiful! We were asked to be the photographers and capture the event and do a photobooth. Each princess left with her own personal picture to take home. Here are the pictures from the day!
This past Saturday, I was hired to photograph “the details” of work done by Victoria Clausen.
Victoria is an amazing woman, great personality with beautiful style. I met her through a mutual friend, Elle Thompson, a fellow teacher at McDonogh when I taught there right out of college.
Victoria is a floral event designer and creates extravagant pieces for weddings and events. From centerpieces, to atmosphere and hanging draperies to escort tables and cocktail parties, Victoria covers it all. The job I was hired for was for a wedding, and my job… to capture the detail work of this designer for the bride and groom. The photos take at this shoot will go into a book created by Victoria as a gift to the bride and groom.
In January of 2012, Lindsey had Summit… I got to witness her birth and
am so thankful Lindsey asked me to be there. Summit is 18 months now,
and I can’t even believe it. I wanted to rewind a year and a half ago to
the day we surprised Lindsey for a Baby Shower, which was a few days
before she went into labor. She thought she was having a double date
with Patrick, Cameron, and I… little did she know she was about to be
SHOWERED!
A few weeks ago, I got to be part of Lydia Harrison’s sweet 16! I loved
photographing this, one because I love her and her family, and two, I
wanted them to have some great memories from the night! Pastor Kelly
and Helen, her parents, threw her a sweet 16 bash! Her family threw her a
sweet 16 bash with tons of friends, dancing, and food!
