Allison and Mario found us through weddingwire.com, one of our great networking companies we work with who help us find and book amazing clients. They are getting married next year and have invited us to come alongside to document their love story.
This story for us started in a Starbucks where we met them, and said “they would be a great fit for us!”. Mario and Allison, we are thrilled to be your wedding photographers, but more than that, our newest friends. 🙂
Allison and Mario chose old town Alexandria for the location of their session because it is right next to DC, across from the National Harbor and is where they spend most of their time. The fall colors were in full force and the weather cooperated perfectly. The tunnel is unique to Alexandria and the park near the Woodrow Wilson Bridge was the perfect spot to capture the sunset.

“When Mario and I first met, we didn’t immediately exchange phone numbers. It took a little persuasion from him but after the first date I was hooked. We both had a love for food and adventures and would try as many new restaurants as we could. In fact, we have a running list, over our three year relationship, of every restaurant we have been to.
I am a stressed out tax accountant and he is a laid back social worker. I have a dry sense of humor and his is goofy. Together we balance each other out. He has weathered three tax seasons with me. He is my rock and best friend and we can’t wait for our wedding next September on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay.”
In case you can’t tell, we LOVED this Alexandria Virginia Engagement Session with Mario & Allison! National Harbor and Alexandria, VA Engagement pictures turn out so well, and with the sunset, yum!!
