It’s always hard to go through all the weddings from the year and pick out the best. Our biggest problem was that we loved every wedding we had this year, and I’m not kidding. Some weddings were more stressful, but that’s because of circumstances, hard light situations, timelines not being honored, etc. Things happen. BUT, at the end of the year, Patrick and I can truly look back and say that we had our best year ever!! I decided to make a list of things that happened last year that I still have days where I pinch myself because I’m blown away at what happened.
- For starters, it was our first complete year of being full-time, from January to December. Dang!! In 2014 we went full-time in June and got to December and basically said “buckle your seatbeat, it’s about to get real.” By December of 2014 we had about 20 weddings booked for 2015. We finished 2015 off with 35 weddings and 38 engagement sessions!
- We hired a CPA, a Lawyer, and an assistant. INSANE! Now we really are officially official. haha
- We designed and got our MAGAZINE printed!! That was amazing and our clients absolutely loved it.
- We shot a total 15 non-wedding sessions, not to mention had 10 family sessions, 3 maternity, a few boudoir jobs, 4 corporate shots, a fashion boutique retainer client, and did a few styled shoots for some vendors! Busy Bees we were!
- We did our first California and Upstate New York destination wedding, AND a couples session in the Bahamas!
