Maddi & Mike’s December Wedding at Overhills Mansion
Maddi and Mike’s wedding day was the perfect finale to our wedding season—the very last wedding of the year, wrapped in evergreen, candlelight, and just a little bit of freezing December air. ❄️
Held at the stunning Overhills Mansion, their winter wedding felt timeless and intentional from start to finish. Despite the cold temperatures outside, the entire day was filled with warmth—from the deep greens and rich reds woven throughout the florals, to the genuine joy radiating from Maddi and Mike in every moment they shared.
Maddi’s vision leaned beautifully into the season. Lush evergreen garlands, classic red and white florals, and soft candlelight transformed the mansion into a romantic winter haven. The ceremony space, framed by greenery and a glowing fireplace, felt intimate and emotional—one of those moments where everything slows down just enough to feel the weight of what’s happening.
Mike wore a deep green suit that complemented the season perfectly, while Maddi absolutely glowed in her gown, layered with cozy winter textures as the day went on. And yes—it was freezing outside for portraits—but you would never know it looking at these two. They laughed through it, leaned into each other, and gave us the most genuine, joy-filled images.
One of the most special parts of Maddi and Mike’s day was how present they were. From quiet moments getting ready with their people, to heartfelt exchanges during the ceremony, to a packed dance floor later that night—it all felt deeply meaningful and unhurried.
Their reception carried the same cozy elegance, with warm lighting, thoughtful details, and plenty of laughter. The kind of celebration where guests linger, stories are shared, and no one wants the night to end.
As photographers, there’s something extra special about the last wedding of the year. It feels reflective and festive. Grateful. Full-circle. And Maddi and Mike’s day was exactly that for us.
