Oh man… this wedding was off the hook. And it was also special for us because Malorie and Neils wedding was our 300th wedding. Is that incredible or what!? This couple was next level, fun, amazing, hilarious, and wonderful. There wasn’t a moment of this day that we didn’t love. Their guests were pretty wild too which we are always fans of!
The morning started off fun and joyful. The babes got ready at the Tidewater House, which if you get the chance to shoot there or be in a wedding party there, it’s so beautiful. The master bedroom is stunning! The guys got ready down the street at the Tidewater Inn and looked so good! Once everyone was set and ready to go, Malorie did a previous dad reveal and he cried… to date, this is something I wish I did with my dad when I got married. Soon after, Neil walked to the house and Malorie met him outside. His reaction to seeing Malorie is what we all want to experience when we do a first look. I didn’t even do one when I got married and had I done one, Neil’s reaction is what I would have wanted for Patrick haha.
The rest of the day was nothing short of amazing. The details were gorgeous and it sure helped having a killer planning team on deck and ready for everything. Moore and Company crushed it, and they are always a treat to work with. Prior to the ceremony family and wedding parties met us in the gardens right across the street for portraits and then we all went into hiding so guests could arrive and go to ceremony. The ceremony was outside on the patio welcomed with string violins and a warm sunny day. The ceremony was wonderful and intimate. Once married, everyone headed to the tent where h’dourves were served and polaroid cameras were available for all to use. The floral chandelier in the tent was stunning, one of my favorites, alongwith the guest book that was hand drawn just for our couple.
The rest of the evening was incredible. The guests had fun, speeches were playful and full of memories, and the food was delicious. The dancing, the band, the special moments with grandparents, with college crews, and extended family will always be remembered.
Malorie and Neil, we can’t thank you enough for choosing us. We loved your day. All of it. And for yours to be our 300th we couldn’t have hoped for a better couple and are so thankful for letting it be you! We wish you all the best. And thank you for the sweet thank you gift… we can’t wait for some time away together ourselves! xo
