Maggie & Austin | Princeton University & Pennington High School Engagement Session
Some engagement sessions feel straight out of a storybook, and Austin and Maggie’s session in Princeton, New Jersey was exactly that.
Since they are high school sweethearts, we started there session at Pennington High School. We cruised around campus, and made our way around the grounds. Soft evening light filtered through the trees as the two of them strolled hand-in-hand, creating the kind of effortless portraits every photographer hopes for.
Then we ventured to Princeton University. Between the ivy-covered walls and buildings, the historic stone architecture, and the timeless charm of downtown Princeton, every corner felt like it belonged in a romantic movie.
Austin and Maggie dressed perfectly for the setting. Maggie wore a soft green dress that complemented the spring scenery beautifully, while Austin’s classic navy blazer created a timeless and elegant look. Together, they looked completely at home wandering through the historic campus.
One of our favorite parts of the evening was exploring Princeton University’s iconic architecture. The towering stone archways, ivy-covered buildings, and grand courtyards created a backdrop that felt both sophisticated and romantic. There is something magical about photographing couples in locations filled with history and character, and Princeton never disappoints.
As we walked through campus, Austin and Maggie naturally slipped into conversation, laughter, and quiet moments together. Those are always our favorite photographs—the ones where couples forget about the camera and simply enjoy being together.
What stood out most throughout the evening was how comfortable Austin and Maggie are together. Their relationship feels easy, joyful, and grounded in genuine friendship. Whether they were walking beneath the campus archways or sharing quiet moments in the gardens, their connection was undeniable.
