Sharing this wedding is so awesome! Krissy and DJ are one of our rescheduled couples from last year. In fact I was not even supposed to be at Krissy and DJ’s wedding as we had told them last March prior to reschedule and prior to Covid that I was pregnant and may not be able to be at their wedding. We were super bummed because I was so looking forward to shoot their wedding. Then Covid hit. Then they reschedule their wedding. Then I had a baby last July. All that to say I had the honor of shooting Krissy and DJ’s wedding along side my husband this past August. Krissy and DJ got married at the famous Pier 5 hotel in Baltimore Maryland. This venue is a waterfront venue that has beautiful views of the city and waterfront.
Krissy got ready at one of the hotel suites alongside all of her bridesmaids and mom. The guys were in another suite prepping for the day. This wedding was neat for a few reasons. All the vendors except myself and the hotel were all family vendor friends. From the officiant to the day of coordinator to the florist, family was involved. Shortly after getting ready our couple experience a really sweet first look as DJ turned around to see his bride before him. I love reactions from our grooms that are emotional. I’m just a sucker for them. Amazing furniture rentals from White Glove Rentals debuted at cocktail hour. Krissy and DJ wanted an outdoor ceremony even though the grounds were wet from a storm the night before. We are so glad the decision was made for an outdoor ceremony because it did not disappoint. These two said “I Do” in front of family and friends and shared a first married kiss as people cheered on both on looking public and guests.With speeches from sisters and brothers and first dances and parent dances the night kicked off the party. These guys had so much fun together it was obvious. Krissy did not want to leave DJ side and he was proud that she was his wife.
