Bright lights on stage. The crowd below watching and waiting for the music to start. His band was getting ready. A few casual stares and looks. Christina’s heart fluttered. Eric was totally distracted. But the recording had to go on.

“Eric and I first officially met a the Historic RCA Studio B in Nashville, Tennessee in January of 2011. Eric and his band, The Whitewall Gentleman, were recording their first album there. I had been invited to do background vocals with some other Belmont students. ”
Christina shared with us that theyhad lots of awkwardly cute interactions while recording. After the session that night in January, they were both eager to get to know one another, but also incredibly shy. With some (very obvious) help from Mackenzie Williams (a friend of theirs), they started dating later that spring and started going “steady” in April of 2011.

“3 years later on the anniversary of our “first dance,” Eric sang a song he wrote for me, and asked me to marry him, in front of a crowd of our friends and family who had traveled from for the special event. Our sweet, blind, puppy, Popeye, had the ring 🙂”
The couples who we have the honor of being their photographers, are some of the most genuine, sweetest, and down to earth people. Christina and Eric live in Nashville, Tennessee (country yum) and are getting married in Annapolis later this summer. We felt it fitting while they were home for the holidays to venture throughout downtown Annapolis and find some treasure.
With the help of Christina’s mom, an Annapolis local and who also wanted to be our chauffeur (and come along for the adventure) got us around in no time. Here’s some of our favorites from our time spent with them, a couple days before Christmas! We loved our downtown Annapolis engagement session with Christina and Eric, can’t you tell!?
