I loved this engagement session with Vanessa and Will! We met at the beautiful Brookside Gardens in Bethesda, MD. I had been checking the weather all day, and it looked clear, then a storm popped up out of nowhere right when we arrived. We decided to head into the gardens to a covered gazebo, and try and get as much shooting in as we could on the way there before the rain started. They were troopers, braved a little bit of rain before we made it to the gazebo, and we were able to spend some time getting to know each other and talking about wedding plans while the storm came through. Luckily it was quick, and we could continue on with our session after it passed. The rain actually cooled down the hot July day a little, which was nice. There were so many beautiful flowers in bloom, and we had an awesome time cruising the property shooting in various environments within the gardens. Vanessa + Will were so cute, so in love, and had the best attitudes which is all you can hope for when you get unexpected rain during your session! They were able to laugh and have fun with it, and their vibrance came through in the photos! We can’t wait for the wedding next year!
