Last weekend, my cousin Krissy got married in Richmond Virginia. What a beautiful weekend away and what a fabulous reason for a road trip! She was an absolutely stunning bride.
Krissy invited me to her bridesmaids luncheon at The Blue Goat, a Neo-southern comfort food restaurant, sourced locally when possible. (They have the BEST TOT-CHOs – spicy tater-tots I’ve ever had, hoping to try to replicate in my own kitchen hehe).
People want Freedom. Life. Hope. Love. You don’t realize how much you need any of these until you don’t have it or them anymore. 111 days ago, Patrick, Lydia, my mother-in-law, and I found a tiny little duckling in a parking garage, lonely, by itself, without family. We knew it had two options, live or […]
We’ve been so excited to feature this blog post as we loved this wooded, whimsical, musical Senior Portrait Session. Alissa K. is a babe. She is a harpist, and a fabulous musician.
During the week Patrick does baseball instruction for talented young students, and Alissa’s brothers and parents are one of his clients. Alissa wanted something different, edgy, but unique with her twist and personality. So we asked some questions, including taking her and her harp outside into the woods. When her and her parents agreed, we made the trip to McLean, Virginia, where the K’s live, and we spent a few hours in the woods. Here’s what came about from our harp in the woods session.
This is LONG overdue due to the busyness of our wedding season at its peak, but wanted to highlight this amazing family. Patrick and I had the honor of spending an afternoon with Seth and Alyce and their precious babes… all girls.
Seth and Alyce are realtors here in Baltimore and own a successful business called The Dailey Group. Alyce has “known” me since I was a little kid, but we’ve officially met as friends about a year or so ago thanks to a mutual friend, Hadassah.
We headed out to the park, a place the girls love, and successfully, with minimal tears, had a beautiful family session. Thank you Alyce and Seth for hiring us.
