Emily and Chad are sweet souls, along with their super cute pup. For folks that aren’t used to the camera, these guys did exceptional! Just remind us never to go to a state park on a Saturday due to crowds! Our couple rocked their session in between the bustle of many dogs and their humans on the trails at Patapsco State Park in Arbutus. These guys were willing to follow us as we navigated multiple parks of the park. We wanted them to have beautiful variety, and so we found it. Our personal favorite was hiking to the waterfalls and down to the aqueduct along the river… just breathtaking.
It’s not everyday that you get to take a hike up into the mountains and photograph a super cute couple. Joey and Meredith love nature and mostly the fall. These guys had a beautiful session up at Cunningham Falls State Park. They were adventurous as they trusted us to cruise the area scouting amazing backdrops and scenery. My personal favorite is the path to the woods. Not open to the public we secretly wandered back just a few yards to capture the beauty of the woods surrounding these two.
Cotton Candy Skies, a cold night, the sweetest flower girl, smiles all night and beautiful florals, this wedding was nothing short of beauty.
Sam and Andrew had a gorgeous wedding day at Celebrations on the Bay. Surrounded by friends and family, Sam and Andrew said I do overlooking the bay with dusk at their fingertips.
We shot a wedding at the Baltimore Waterfront Hotel in June of this year… and there was this super cute couple that just ROCKED the dance floor with their swinging ability… like legit Swing. Patrick and I both were kinda jealous because clearly we couldn’t compete (with or without our cameras).
Chelsea and Charles are two sweethearts with big big hearts and a sweet sense a humor. We are so pumped for their June 2017 wedding! They probably will get the award for most guests ever invited to a wedding and we can’t wait to see who shows up on the dance floor!
We never know how brides and grooms will find us. My brother was in high school and went to prom with this super cute girl. Little did I know that two of her sisters would end up choosing us to be their wedding photographers!! We are so thrilled to have Megan and Charles, and Kaitlin and Scott as two of our Radiant Couples!
Megan and Charles had a beautiful wedding at the Mount De Sales Chapel on the school property. As a graduate, it was super special for our bride and her entire family. Our groom and his guys looked so daper with their light gray suits and the pop of yellow on their lapel. The bridesmaids wore navy with yellow bouquets and the cutest pairs of cowgirl boots!
These two said I do and drove west where they danced all night at Union Mills Homestead. Now these two have some pretty cool things that make their wedding different than a lot of the wedding we shoot. First off… we got to photograph and hold Raven’s Championship rings as one of their guests is on the executive staff at Ravens Stadium. These two lovebirds also LOVE dinosaurs and they requested what we call a “Dino Run.” You’ve gotta see what we put together for them because this was one photoshop job that was pretty fun for us to work on.
Fall sunrise engagement sessions are some of our favorite types of sessions because there’s no traffic, no people around that have to be photoshopped or accounted for, and the colors of the sky are to die for! When Christina and Chris told us about their sweet moments at the National Mall during their dating season of life, we were in total agreement to do a DC National Mall Engagement Session. It was the morning of the Marine Corp Marathon so we spent the morning wandering all over the mall. We started at the National Monument, walked across the lawns of the Lincoln Memorial by the reflecting pool, down by the cherry blossoms across from the Jefferson Memorial, back to the fountains on Constitution. We had a blast with these guys and LOVE the variety of locations we covered in our 2.5 hours with them.
Many of you received our announcement email when we shared our exciting news. Many of you found out on Facebook or Instagram! Or some of you through my mom haha. Patrick and I are so excited to share that we are expecting a little baby in April 2017. We found out in July and decided to wait until our 3rd year wedding Anniversary (just a week ago) to share our news with the world. (Really it’s because Maggie wanted to wait until she was showing… opps). We had to keep it a secret for 4.5 months! Next time, no way. It was so hard not to tell people, but alas we did.
We decided it would be really fun to do a “lead up” with a total of three images to share leading up to our announcement on our wedding anniversary.
When you are pregnant, I have to say it’s pretty awesome to be able to hold and see your friends with their little ones as well. When my good friend Nicole, who I know from shooting weddings and events at Turf Valley, asked me to come photograph their new addition, I was so excited. Lately I’ve been doing a lot more maternity and newborn than I normally do because we specialize in weddings, not little people. However, what a sweet treat it is to photograph them. Nicole, thanks for trusting me with your little girl… she did so great!
Ekk! I am so excited to share this maternity session. I’ve known Sarah since college, we were chaplains together at Oral Roberts University. After college, I moved home, met Patrick and got married. Sarah was one of my amazing bridesmaids. Soon after, Sarah got engaged to this amazing guy named Chris, and they asked Patrick and I to be their wedding photographers. Just a few months ago, Sarah and Chris moved to Columbia Maryland from Texas!!! And now they live 15 minutes from me! I still can’t believe they are really here. Sarah and Chris are expecting a little one this December, just 4 weeks from now! So we HAD to do their maternity session and we were ecstatic!
