When your best friend has a 1 year old (almost) and asks you to do a cake smash, you do it. Not because you feel obligated, because you love that little girl to cake pieces! We had literally 10 minutes before a storm blew in, and Ella took her sweet time… not sure if it was “OK” to get so messy and eat the whole thing by herself!! Her sweet little eyes, smiles, and of course, her desire to share the whole time. Oh, and then she decides to climb you. Happy First Birthday Ella! Can’t believe you’re ONE!!
Arriving at their wedding and seeing all the details and hearing all the stories shared in the speeches, Patrick and I knew Jenn was in amazing hands. These two LOVE the Lord, LOVE each other, and LOVE the great outdoors. I mean, you gotta love the outdoors and adventures to spend your honeymoon in Colorado hiking, camping, and exploring. How amazing! It was fitting considering Phil proposed on top of Pole’s Steeple in PA in January!
Billy and Claire both attended Virginia Tech and had over 100 mutual friends but had never met. It was outside of the college life that Claire and Billy first met. Claire had moved to DC, reconnected with friends, and met Billy at one of the hangouts. Things evolved as they became dates for each other to alumni events and parties, and the rest is history.
Patrick and I had a blast with these two! They were adventurous and super trusting of our creativity and vision for the day. Megan had the perfect dress to get into the water and do some epic water shots, and Seth was just game! Not many guys would take off their shoes, roll up their suit and get in the water. SO thanks Seth for trusting us in that realm!
When an Aussie and an American get together, you know it’s gonna be super cute! Caitlin and Nate are getting married in just 3 weeks!! We are so excited to be photographing their wedding.
When we did their session last week, it was calling for down pouring rain. Thankfully the downpour held off as we ventured around Federal Hill in downtown Baltimore. We had an hour before the sun went down and I just have to say, these guys rocked their session!
If I could describe these two in one word, I would say laughter. These two have so much fun together it’s not even funny… get it… haha. Corny I know.
Katt and Nick are such sweeties. We won’t forget where we met Katt, because it was a bridal show and I think she may have stopped by our “living room” booth like 5+ times and I remember her saying “I just have to have you at my wedding.”
Melissa and Tom are such cuties!! Our time with them was super sweet. We started out at the Belvedere, a favorite place of theirs because of the Owl Bar, one of their favorite restaurants. Mt Vernon is a special part of town for them. If felt fitting to do their session all around the square and at the church they attend too. They did such a great job with little direction too!
When two people get engaged at Camden Yards during a game, you know it makes perfect sense to do their engagement session there too! Ray proposed to Tess in section 80, not a section open to the public unless for games. We got to cruise around the park, into the dugout, and almost touch the grass (Just kidding, they don’t allow you to touch it or stand on it)! After the park, we headed up to Federal Hill, an iconic place to view all of Baltimore and its harbor. The wind was unreal!! Which made for gorgeous shots of these two lovebirds, hair blown kisses and all.
