In April of 2017, Patrick and I were supposed to shoot a wedding. I ended up getting pregnant during summer wedding season of 2016 and gave our April couples the option to void contract with us since I was unable to shoot the wedding. All 5 of our April weddings kept contract and Patrick and Sarah (our associate team lead) ended up shooting all the April Weddings. Ally and Benny were one of them.

Ally and Benny’s wedding was gorgeous and I was so bummed I had to miss it. Patrick and Sarah dominated that wedding and I jokingly told them “you don’t need me anymore!” 

Benny’s sister Molly reached out earlier this year and asked us to photograph her wedding which made my heart so happy. I can’t even tell you how excited I was and honored to shoot a wedding for a sibling to one of our couples.

Molly and Ryan live in Denver, so at our consult via FaceTime I remember asking them where they wanted to do their engagement photos. Without a beat, Molly said “In Breckenridge.” I was SO excited. We photographed Ally and Benny’s engagement pictures in the winter in Breckenridge and we were so pumped to be going back to do their photos in the summer. 

Our time with them in Colorado was a whirlwind and awesome. We fly in the same day as their session, met up and drove out to the Rockys together with their sweet pup Dahlia in the back. We found gorgeous locations as we drove around. Spending time with this guys “off roading” the hills of Breck was amazing and finding beauty was sooo easy. From rolling hills, to a mini hail storm which left a rainbow for us, to soaking wet ski lifts and open fields filled with wild flowers, Colorado didn’t disappoint. Of course it didn’t, why do you think we want to start a Living Radiant Colorado Weddings! It’s our favorite state!

Molly and Ryan, thanks so much for trusting us, flying us out and hosting us in your home. We loved our time together, and even Dahlia did awesome and was such a good dog! We can’t wait for your wedding next year!
