On December 12th, he gave a gift to a special girl. It was a beautiful box with something special inside. Inside the box was a Nutcracker with two tickets to her favorite ballet in New York City.
They headed to New York the day before their anniversary – checked into their hotel and got ready for the night. He told her that their dinner reservation was on the other side of Central Park, so we would have to walk straight through to get to the restaurant on time. When they came to a clearing in the park, he got down on one knee and proposed to the love of his life. They celebrated their engagement at a restaurant on the other side of the park, where they had a beautiful French meal before proceeding to the Koch theater for the ballet.
Melissa and Rich are sweeties. Like they are sweet, kind, and thoughtful. They were going to have a big wedding and decided instead to have a courthouse wedding and a party afterwards in Annapolis.
