I always tell people “Anyone can go to the top of Federal Hill, it’s free!” But here’s the thing… when it’s your home or your backyard, heck ya, you shoot there! 

Krissy and DJ found us online, maybe google, maybe IG, but there’s one thing that’s for sure, when we met these guys, there was no denying this would be such a great match. When we meet with couples we try really hard not to make it like an interview, because it’s awkward for all of us… just like the start of all our engagement sessions. 

Krissy and DJ… you guys warmed up in like 4 minutes, it was incredible. We walked into Wayward Bar, saw our couple and we said, lets do this! We spent the first portion of the session at Wayward, the bar where these guys met (and where their engagement party was too). Bar sessions aren’t for everyone but they look incredible and mean so much to those that have a history with it. As I said, Guy walks into a bar, and meets the love of his life. Pretty awesome. That’s not always the story that goes down.

We ventured all around Federal Hill, the waterfront, and eventually their pup showed up all smiles and stole the show. But totally worth it and we will always be in favor of critters being a part of sessions. DJ and Krissy, thanks for choosing us and allowing us to venture through downtown in the cold! We had so much fun!
