I’ll never forget when Heather sat at my kitchen table in our new home and told leaned over to KC and told him she was going to have to cancel their next meeting. As in they had planned to meet another photographer that night after us, and decided not to. They booked us at our table that night and the rest is history! The only thing that could’ve made this wedding day better was if selfishly, we had done an engagement session with them because we didn’t feel like we had enough time with them on wedding day! These guys had a ton of guests, an awesome timeline, and were covered head to toe in love.

These guys are such a fun couple. Their wedding was gorgeous. Their wedding was full of love and family. Unlike a lot of our weddings there was a big focus on family toast and speeches. One of my favorite parts of the day (maybe 2) were when Heather’s girls prayed over her right before she walked down and aisle, and then of course, he dance with her dad. I can’t even tell you how many speeches there were unless I look at their photos. Different guests had different focuses, honoring different family members. It was one of the first weddings we’ve ever photographed in which there were toasts not solely focused on the bride and groom but towards the upbringing and raising of their children to the parents. Such a cool and unique thing to witness.

However like all of our weddings, this ceremony and reception was full of life and full of celebration. Heather and KC, we loved being a part of your day. Our film guys and us loved watching the secret giggles, the smiles, and the interactions that were shared between the two of you, but also your family members and your wedding party members. We hope your photos remind you for years of the goodness and the beauty of what you have with your circle of friends and families. I mean, gosh, we feel like family and you treated us like it too. Ultimately we hope your photos give you the best indication of strong, faith-filled love. We wish you guys the best and are honored we got to photograph your love story!
