Phew! Clearly you know we’ve been consumed with weddings when we are sharing weddings from September today!!! But… now you’re in for it… you’re about to see what we’ve been up to and the gorgeous weddings and couples we’ve spent our weekends with!
We are so excited to introduce you to Brittany and Juan. I couldn’t even tell you where we met these guys initially but the friendship that’s come about, I feel like I’ve known them for years. We shot their snowy engagement session in Deep Creek over the winter of 2018/2019 and it was so memorable as Patrick, Zeke and I spent almost a week out there in a cabin celebrating our anniversary. While planning out trip, we proposed the idea to Brittany and Juan since they live out of state in WV. So they met us out there and gosh did we have fun! While getting closer over pizza, we knew their wedding was going to be amazing.
And indeed it was. The day was full of lots of incredible moments. Juan was crying because Brittany ever touched him for their first look. Gifts given were sentimental. The decor was the work of the bride and her family and the installation of it was 100% by the groomsmen. Good work guys!
Once the first look happened and our couple wiped their tears, the whole day flew by. Laughter in lavender fields and vineyards could probably be heard from the manor house. Bubbles flew at ceremony and that awesome golden hour lighting we perfect for ceremony.
Once these guys were hitched the party was rockin. They all (like everyone) had converses so they were all ready to dance the night away. Speeches were sweet, sincere and funny. Dances were full of smiles and enjoyment. And dinner was obviously yummy. At the end of the night, our couple asked us for our favorite photo of the day.. Us with our couples. We LOVE this photo and it means the world to us when our couples request it. One day I’ll make a wall of all the photos and couples we’ve ever shot their wedding for. So thankful and grateful for such an amazing couple and beautiful wedding in 2019. Brittany and Juan, as you know, thank you. Thank you for choosing us. Your day was one of our favorites because you LET US create beauty for you and beautiful moments too. We wish you guys the best and can’t wait to see you again!
