In case you haven’t noticed, we’ve literally been swimming 12 feet deep in weddings and engagements. We finally have caught up, just in time to be slammed again by a wave of awesome weddings and engagement sessions that are coming our way literally in days. We will have weddings and engagements every weekend until Thanksgiving where we have some time off. And then we have 4 December weddings. But today, we are sharing a DC wedding at the classy MayFlower Hotel in DC.
Alyssa and Justin, where to begin. We fell in love with you guys immediately. Every interaction we have with you, we get closer and closer. Like the last time you came over for your gallery reveal you were in our home for like 3 hours. Patrick and Justin spent time playing the smart switches, google homes, and dimmers. What nerds. Alyssa and I snuggled Zeke, ate cheese and crackers and talked about Instagram Facades, then moved the wine so Zeke wouldn’t spill it all over the carpet.
Your wedding day is one of the books. A healthy timeline stolen by a DC protest resulting in a few audibles, yet still allowing for Alyssa’s must have “monument photos.” Pretty sure all those tourists that you guys were famous… huge bridal party and everyone is beautiful.
Every detail of your day was intentional. You can see it as the day moved forward and time crept passed us (well for you it probably ran). Your custom made dress was one of my favorites and that veil… holy moly. I still can’t believe how much variety you have in newlywed portraits. Like I want to do my wedding over and spend more time doing portraits!
Thank you guys so much for including us in an incredible moment in your life. You just beamed at each other and your guests were in awe of you. You know we are here for you guys whenever you want or need us. We will always be cheerleaders for you as individuals and for your marriage! Congrats again!
