In 2010, Ashlee & Chris asked Patrick and I to be their wedding photographers for their October 2011 wedding. We had no idea how to “do” wedding photography, all we knew was how to take pictures, and how to make people feel comfortable with us. We are forever grateful to this power duo and would not be where we are today without their trust in us.
Now in 2015, Ashlee & Chris are having TWINS and they asked us to do maternity pictures. Let’s just say, our time together was so sweet and fun. Normally we spend our days with engaged couples and couples on their wedding day, but this day was spent with good friends, soon-to-be parents, and a previous wedding client at Clyburn Arboretum. What a dream. We reminisced life and the journey we all have been on. When we photographed the King wedding back in 2011, Patrick and I had been dating. Only God would have known that he and I would be working alongside each other photographing weddings as husband and wife. Long-time friendships are the best.
Ashlee & Chris, we are thrilled for you guys and know you will be amazing parents. We love you guys heaps!
Theses next few are just a few behind the scenes. Sometimes you just gotta have some fun, get in the bushes, share how you get some shots, and how to have fun while doing it. As good friends of ours, we laughed a bunch and got silly.
