Oh man super pumped to share this wedding today. Caroline and Andrew got married last year and we were able to document their smaller Beloved Wedding. Last year’s wedding was intimate as it was just the immediate families of both our bride and groom. But they postponed their big party at the Pendry to this year 2021 and OMG is was amazing. It was a packed day start to finish! These both got ready at the Pendry next to family and bridal parties. I especially loved that the girls did a champagne pop on the balcony of their suite. These two shared a really sweet look at the top of the red velvet staircase at the Pendry.
Last year we did not have bridal party, but this time we did! We were so pumped to be able to cruise the Pendry property with beautiful people and get a handful of photo variety for our newlyweds part two. What you won’t see on our blog that I think was really cool is when we went out to the pool deck there were hundreds of people. But being the caliber of guests at the Pendry they all moved so our bridal party could have beautiful photos of the waterfront with the infinity pool. This wedding had some really cool bucket list points for us. Not only was it my first time shooting a full day at the Pendry it was also my first wedding that incorporated both a tea ceremony, with all family and close friends, as well as a really amazing ethnic tribal dance by a group with dancing lions honoring the Chinese tradition. It was obvious all day that Caroline and Andrew are ready to party and celebrate their marriage with family and friends.
Obviously that’s what we find with most of our couples who got married in 2020 with a party in 2021. They couldn’t wait to just be with family and friends celebrating a once-in-a-lifetime event. Caroline and Andrew thank you for choosing us and trusting us. We love being alongside you and really hope you love these photos even more so than your ones from last year or as much as. We wish you guys the best and hope to see you in the years to come!
