Up the blog today is a beautiful wedding day for Kelsey and Tyler. Going back in time a little bit Kelsey’s sister in law Laura is a friend of mine from church. She has two little girls, Lucy and June and they are good friends with my little guy Levi. One Sunday she mentioned to me that she referred her sister-in-law to us. I knew I would be getting an inquiry from one of her family members. Little did I know Kelsey and Tyler had already hired us! Such a cool world to know that I would be seeing Laura and her family on Kelsey and Tyler‘s wedding day! PS… best flower girls EVER!
The chance of rain was eminent all day long. But somehow we all lucked out and had incredible beautiful weather for their wedding day. Everything was on site, which was such a bonus because it’s a really cool venue and no time was loss as we cruised around property!
The reception barn is on site right behind the getting ready buildings where Kelsey and Tyler got ready. The babes got ready in a cute little house and Kelsey‘s mom helped her get dressed. What a special thing to share. Tyler hung out around all his guys as he got ready. They decide not to do a first look, which was such a great choice for their day because Kelsey‘s dad had gifted them a beautiful white horse and carriage that would bring Kelsey to the ceremony site. But what they did do before ceremony was a first touch and wish they were back to back and got to talk with each other before they actually got married. Such a sweet moment one that I wish I had done on my wedding.
Fast forward to ceremony, they got married out in an open field backed up to beautiful woods. The coloration was gorgeous this time of year. They said “I do” in front of all their family and friends, and as they left, everyone shouted and celebrated them as they hopped into their white horse drawn carriage! So loved the photos we took then!
The night was full of so much fun. These guys had a beautiful cake and cupcake display made by a bridesmaid, along with a beautiful choreographed first dance. I especially loved that. Parent dances that could make you cry. They even requested a group photo with every table that was present. What a great way to document everyone who was in attendance!
Kelsey and Tyler, you had a beautiful day and we were so excited to be a alongside you. Thanks for hopping in our vehicle and heading to the top of the hill where we were able to take beautiful pictures at sunset overlooking the fields in the venue. Those are some of my favorite pictures of the day. We wish you guys all the best in life and in your marriage. Don’t be strangers you know where we are and if you need anything, never hesitate to ask. Xo
