Aww yah! Sitting down to write this blog post is exciting for me. I’m not sure if it’s because of how we met today’s blog feature Lauren and Will, our time together at Ladew Gardens, or at lunch afterwards. Let me share a little about all those things. Last year at the AVAM Baltimore Weddings Wedding Show (which is coming up next month), it was the end of the night, a lot of people had already started breaking down their spots, couples leaving, and I look over towards Patrick and he’s talking with this really beautiful and sweet couple. They spent a lot of time with him and us, asking questions, most not related to wedding photography. By the end, we said goodbye, they left and we realized we didn’t get any information about them. Patrick said “they know where to find us if they want us.” Months went by, and I remember thinking, bummer, I’m sure they’ve gone.
Little did we know, Lauren had kept all the info we gave her, from vendor reqs, ideas, wedding advice, etc. She was so appreciative of it all and even said that she knew she wanted us, it was just a matter of timing. When they reached out and said they wanted us, we were honored and excited. Our time with them at Ladew Gardens was an adventure. Lauren had this beautiful and fun picnic idea and theme she wanted, so we said, lets do it. We also cruised around and “tried” to be the last ones to leave at close (it’s a strict venue) while still respecting rules. 🙂 Dinner/Lunch afterwards was really fun. We went to a restaurant owned by one of Wills friends (I think) and the food was so good! We need to go back again. We got to know each other over great food and laughs. L+W, we can’t wait for your wedding this June! It’s going to be wonderful!
