Yah! This session is so fun for so many reasons! First off, Caitlin and David are sweet, genuine and just a lot of fun. Super trusting of us on the muggiest session we’ve had all year. That didn’t stop them from kissing laughing and hiking through McKeldin State Park with us! The first part of the session, their sweet pup Blue, a gorgeous Bernese Mountain Dog joined us for some pics. After that, we headed to the waterfall where we did some twirls and some intimate segments. Then we searched and chased light throughout the woods and fields. We finished their session with Korbel champagne popping as deer watched on. Oh and we can’t forget the giant sushi boat we all shared in Old Ellicott City for dinner! C+D, we are so pumped for what’s to come! We hope you love your photos and you’re excited for what’s to come!
Yah for dogs and super cute couples! First off, I love our engagement sessions because most of them take us places we’ve never been before. For Steph and John, Piney Run State Park is super special to them, as John proposed on a hike to the back of the park… they said it would not disappoint so we of course said, let’s go and took a long hike!
We hiked back with them, their sweet pup, and Steph’s mom too! We loved our time with them. I especially loved that John grabbed a lotus flower without question when he was near one on a log so we could style her engagement ring! We loved getting to know them and can’t wait for their wedding next April!
We’ve been so excited to feature this blog post as we loved this wooded, whimsical, musical Senior Portrait Session. Alissa K. is a babe. She is a harpist, and a fabulous musician.
During the week Patrick does baseball instruction for talented young students, and Alissa’s brothers and parents are one of his clients. Alissa wanted something different, edgy, but unique with her twist and personality. So we asked some questions, including taking her and her harp outside into the woods. When her and her parents agreed, we made the trip to McLean, Virginia, where the K’s live, and we spent a few hours in the woods. Here’s what came about from our harp in the woods session.
