I met Gloria and Roger through a coworker and former bride, Marlina a few years ago and was so excited when she wanted to work with us! Their wedding was in downtown Havre de Grace at Vandiver Inn and it was so cute! We even took a little trip to head down toward the lighthouse. What we didn’t realize was that there was a huge fundraising festival going on and the park was packed! Gloria and Roger quickly became famous and they handled the crowd so well. We were able to get beautiful portraits by the water and they even had time to read their vows for one another privately. Roger wrote his vows in Spanish for her with the help of a few friends! It was a great Vietnamese and El Savadorian affair at reception with people from both sides of the family struggling their way through the macarena! What a blast. It was great to see you both again and thank you so much for including us on your special day!
We met these sweethearts at another wedding for their friends Mallory and DJ a few years back and it was so much fun to see everyone again at Mandy and Chris’ wedding! These two had such a memorable engagement session driving around Locust Point and Fed Hill hitting all of the iconic spots. On their wedding day, they tackled the rain, even as it sprinkled through the ceremony they held true to what was most important: getting married. They read their vows to one another (after a rock, paper, scissors for who would go first) and then partied the night away. Complete with a full service ice cream truck, their reception was a rockin’ time. We can’t wait to see your final film from Living Radiant Films and relive your beautiful day! Thank you for bearing with us all through the rain, you had an incredible day and we are thankful to have been a part of it!
Sibling weddings for us are always fun. If you’ve been following us for years then you know that is so true. We met Cortney and Matt at a wedding we shot earlier this year in April. Cortney and Erin are stepsisters. These girls are also total babes and some of those most sweet women I know. When Cortney and Matt reached out to hire us we were so pumped. There was not a question in their head for hiring us. Cortney doesn’t know this but I found out at her wedding day that she actually broke contract with her other photographer because she wanted us. Well I’m sad for the photographer. I was so flattered and all that she would go that far to have us at her wedding. One of my favorite parts of Cortney and Matt and their marriage and relationship is that they already have kids together. And what I thought was so special was that their bridal party was made up 100% of their kids and family members. I wasn’t sure what the day would look like having some young kids in the wedding party as bridesmaids and groomsmen but I’ll tell you, it definitely was a beautiful experience that we loved experiencing as photographers. The kids were great, the parents were awesome and you could tell that Cortney and Matt just had the best day ever.
Sharing this wedding is so awesome! Krissy and DJ are one of our rescheduled couples from last year. In fact I was not even supposed to be at Krissy and DJ’s wedding as we had told them last March prior to reschedule and prior to Covid that I was pregnant and may not be able to be at their wedding. We were super bummed because I was so looking forward to shoot their wedding. Then Covid hit. Then they reschedule their wedding. Then I had a baby last July. All that to say I had the honor of shooting Krissy and DJ’s wedding along side my husband this past August. Krissy and DJ got married at the famous Pier 5 hotel in Baltimore Maryland. This venue is a waterfront venue that has beautiful views of the city and waterfront.
I’m going to kick this blog post off saying that Bridget and Kenny’s dogs are by far the best and cutest golden retrievers and the most obedient at a wedding, even better than kids haha. But really, really awesome dogs that belong to our amazing Kenny and Bridgette! Their pups were part of the entire day from getting ready to portraits through ceremony.
Kenny and Bridgette, Patrick and I were honored and so excited to be alongside you guys. Although we had never met until the wedding day we felt like we were walking into a friends wedding day of. You guys made us feel so special upon our arrival and it meant the world to us. The whole day was fun. You guys trusted us. For not having done an engagement session you guys were amazing with letting us give you direction for posing and hopefully you felt like you got to enjoy your wedding the way you wanted.
Merrill and John got married last year in an intimate ceremony, and celebrated on their one year anniversary date with a special brunch for their family and friends. The location was Annapolis Yacht club, and we were blessed with a beautiful day. We did their newlywed portraits on the docks and around the Yacht club, followed by family portraits, and a beautiful brunch! Merrill’s dad gave a beautiful toast, and there were plenty of mimosas and macaroons to go around. Thank you for trusting us to celebrate your day with you!
Yah! Diane and Jeff’s Wedding is up on the blog!
Diane and Jeff are one of our 2020 rescheduled couples. They ended up eloping in 2020 in the midwest but still wanted to celebrate with family and friends locally in Maryland.
This wedding is so neat for sooo many reasons.
First off, Diana is a gem. As a previous planner, her attention to detail is unreal. Every aspect of the day was planned out, thought out, and intentional. From her invitations to the florals, to the lighting and food. I remember when she hired us for their wedding, how excited she was about all the beauty and details. Now another awesome part of this wedding is the planner. Connie of RaynorShine Events is one of my past brides. She’s amazing, thoughtful, and also very attentive to detail. So the power duo planners were in this from the beginning. This is one of our weddings that we didn’t meet our groom Jeff, until the day of. And what a stud. He’s handsome, sweet, and he sure loves Diana.
Lindsay and Matt are of our rescheduled couples. We have had the privilege of being alongside so many couples through what has been an emotional year and roller coaster. We are so glad that we were able to move every single one of our weddings.
When the day finally arrived, we were giddy for them! The girls got ready at Lindsay’s parents house in Towson at a childhood place with dogs included. Matt got ready at a local hotel. Lindsay wore her grandmothers handkerchiefs with her garters and she included a peach colored invitation stationary card with her flat lay that was the last piece of grandmother’s stationery. Some other things to note… we hung her dress on a Redwood tree that her dad planted that grew on their property. Laughter filled the rooms at both locations and eventually everyone would reconvene and meet up at the beautiful Bayfront Club on the water.
This sweet elopement is live today! We hadn’t met prior to their wedding day, but I met Diana in the parking lot at Quiet Waters Park where they would do a first look at the South River Overlook at the gazebo. Very few people knew they were eloping . They said I do to each other under the roof line of a beautiful gazebo overlooking the river in front of their kids. It was so intimate and special. Diana has two very sweet older sons Ben and Alex and together Philip and Dianna have their sweet 16-month-old name Willy. What a cutie.
They would soon be excited to share with friends and family on Instagram! During portraits the sky opened up while a little sunny and it started to pour. We looked for a rainbow but found none. Smiles across everyone’s face as we kept taking portraits under the gazebos. Congrats Phillip and Diana. Super excited for you guys and honored and thankful you asked me to document your beautiful intimate wedding.
This wedding was one for the history books. The couple – crazy fun. My bride – easy going, trusting, and of course beautiful (I say it all the time… I have the prettiest brides on the planet, inside and out)! And our groom, fun AF.
The venue was so cool to shoot at, it was our first time here as wedding photographers, but my second. During COVID my extended family actually rented Brittland Estates for a family reunion to honor the passing of my grandmother. I fully knew we would see it converted in 2021 for Alex and JD’s wedding! It is so elegant and spacious!
The vendor team… amazing and fun! Some of our favorites to work with!
Alex and JD are kind, fun, good people. Crazy for sure, just the kind that we love. We went into this wedding knowing that the priorities were people, photos, and dancing. I think dancing was the highest priority and it was evident by our groom and his bride and their guests! This also may have been one of the weddings in which guests felt the most free, wanting to be apart of something fully, without restriction, without limitation, and this is exactly what it was.
