We shot Jason and Liz’s Tabrizi wedding in 2015, which is crazy to think because of how time flies. When Liz reached out to me and shared with us that they are expecting this March, we were so excited that they wanted maternity and newborn pictures done! Photographing our past couples and seeing their families grow is probably one of the reasons that keeps me passionate about my job because I just feel so honored that our clients come back to us, years later, and include them in more of their pivotal and monumental moments in life.
Ekk! I am so excited to share this maternity session. I’ve known Sarah since college, we were chaplains together at Oral Roberts University. After college, I moved home, met Patrick and got married. Sarah was one of my amazing bridesmaids. Soon after, Sarah got engaged to this amazing guy named Chris, and they asked Patrick and I to be their wedding photographers. Just a few months ago, Sarah and Chris moved to Columbia Maryland from Texas!!! And now they live 15 minutes from me! I still can’t believe they are really here. Sarah and Chris are expecting a little one this December, just 4 weeks from now! So we HAD to do their maternity session and we were ecstatic!
A few weeks before Christmas, we met up with one of our Radiant families, who wanted to get some pictures for their 2014 Christmas card. Belinda, one of my friends, is also expecting twin girls, and wanted to get a few maternity pics while we were out and about. When these beauties come out, Belinda and Ryan will have FIVE girls! Amazing! We couldn’t be more excited for them.
Newborn shoots are always unpredictable. I’ve come to the realization that newborns are fun to hold, to swaddle, to look at, etc. I’m looking forward to being a mom and having my own newborn some day. However newborns are NOT easy to photograph. In our photography services, these are the most difficult.
Yes. This little guy is a home run. No pun intended. 🙂 Meet Wayne Patrick Wanless. Born January 14, 2014 at 6pm. We love his middle name.
Wayne belongs to Morgan and Wayne. They are champions. They are young (younger than us I mean), they are newly weds, and they are new parents! We have loved spending time with these guys and their little man.
