Yippee! Okay, so first off, this engagement session is a beauty… and two, these guys get married literally next Friday… not this Friday, but next! AHH! We just can’t wait!
Our time with Abbie and Ryan was so much fun. It was supposed to rain and it definitely did at the end of our time together. We literally were chasing overcast skies, praying for great opportunities and sure enough, God provided! These guys had some beautiful lighting, great backdrops, and not a hint of harsh sun. We cruised all around Fells Point! They let us try a double exposure with them, we even busted out the umbrella. At the end of our session, we hung out and ate tacos at Barcocina while it down poured.
Ashley and Joe had a super sweet session down in Old Town Alexandria. Joe has been overseas, so it was a reunion for all of us! Patrick and I loved getting to know these two and our time together was so much fun, but oh my gosh, talk about HOT. These guys may have been one of our hottest engagement sessions to date, and they absolutley crushed their session. We cruised all around downtown, took them to some of our favorite spots but also found adventure and new locations. Our time ended at a really awesome restaurant where we got to share more life and talk a little about wedding! Ashley and Joe, we are so excited to be alongside you guys and can’t wait to see what’s to come!
Yah for dogs and super cute couples! First off, I love our engagement sessions because most of them take us places we’ve never been before. For Steph and John, Piney Run State Park is super special to them, as John proposed on a hike to the back of the park… they said it would not disappoint so we of course said, let’s go and took a long hike!
We hiked back with them, their sweet pup, and Steph’s mom too! We loved our time with them. I especially loved that John grabbed a lotus flower without question when he was near one on a log so we could style her engagement ring! We loved getting to know them and can’t wait for their wedding next April!
I am soo excited to share this season. I’m probably excited to share this session mostly because this was our first time back at Loyola College with our new camera gear, at golden hour, with a beautiful couple!
Malorie and Neil had a killer session and sunset showed up with a show stopper sunset. These guys are awesome, trusted us to venture all around! As college grads on property they shared some things that were different since they were last there, and lead us to where we’d find sunset, and boy did we find it.
Yah! I am so excited to share this engagement session, probably because it involves a super sweet baby named Beck! Aubrie and Tim are actually already married, thanks to COVID, but they will be really official this fall when they get married in front of witnesses, family and friends, and of course the cutest little boy!
Our time with Aubrie and Tim was so much fun. I probably helps that we have little kids too cause an photo shoot is no joke for little kids. Some do great, others don’t. But this little guy did sooo good. As I write this I don’t think he cried once!
Yah! This post is long over due thanks to an insanely busy wedding season, but we are pumped to share it because it’s honestly so beautiful!
When we met Angela and Chris, we were so hopeful they would hire us. Angela and Chris, like us, are private school kids, that could have/should have met way before they did, but fate knew it would come to be. Our time with Angela and Chris was soo much fun. They trusted us as we requested to try a few new things in a location we shoot at a lot. I look at their photos and you wouldn’t even know where they were standing, or who was around, but what you can see are two really incredible people who are excited to get married!
Love stories grow with time, and so for these co-workers, love grew at work! Caroline and John were teachers that met at Dundalk high school over 5 years ago. Their love grew as the school had events and they happened to keep signing up for the same ones. It just made sense to start spending life together.
Caroline and John’s wedding was fun, intentional and playful. The day started off with the bridal party getting ready where the girls and guys were laid back drinking champagne and playing cards. Caroline got ready at Eagles Nest alongside her mom and bridesmaids.
We were so excited to shoot with Christina and Jeremy at Longwood Gardens! Let me first say that Christina is the third sister in a family. We had photographed the other 2 sisters weddings, Amanda and Melissa, and we couldn’t be more excited to be photographing her wedding in January. Jeremy, we are so pumped you’re marrying into that family, they are amazing as you already know.
Grace and Ben had a great session at the Rawlings Conservatory! With dogs in tow, we cruised all around the surrounding areas. Unfortunately we weren’t able to go in due to COVID restrictions but found treasure all around! After our time there, we decided to head down into Baltimore City and hit up the outside of the BMA! These two rocked their session and we couldn’t be more excited about their wedding coming up in August!
EkkK! I’m soooo excited to share this session with you. First off, I LOVE when things just align when you least expect it. Patrick and I flew to Mexico back in January for a friends wedding that we were photographing. On the first day, we got to the resort, grabbed some food, and then were trying to figure out where everything was. So we found ourselves looking at a map, at the same time as another couple. Austin and Courtney were standing there too, I’m pretty sure we asked them a question and they couldn’t answer it either because they had just arrived as well. We talked a little bit, shared a little about ourselves and said “see ya later!”
Little did we know we would run into them a few more times. Once we saw them again I whispered to Patrick, “babe, we should see if they want some photos!” We of course were pumped about the idea of photographing these cuties… probably because we knew they would be so fun and up for a great adventure. Let’s just say, adventure was definitely part of it. We definitely got introuble and yelled at twice off property… our bad. Then we cruised around, tried some new verbal cues like “run and jump off that sand dune towards us” and our favorite… “sit down in the water and see what happens.”
