Our last wedding of the year! I can’t believe we survived 2021 but we did and we did it next to the best couples on the planet. So excited to share this wedding with you all. Not only was this our last wedding of the year, but it was our 54th wedding of the year and there’s not another couple we would have wanted it to be.
Emily and Trevor, Congrats. Your day was full of so many sweet memories and moments. You both come from intentional, and beautiful families. The parent reveals were incredible, and watching Emily’s mom admire her daughter as she got dressed got me emotional too.
The whole day was full and fun. These lovebirds got ready at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel, sharing a first touch and their vows on the Four Seasons waterfront. They actually rode together in the same vehicle to their ceremony but didn’t actually see each other until Emily walked down the aisle! Thanks for trusting us, for letting us get creative, and even letting us try something new. By new, these guys trust us to do a first touch followed by a photo looking at the camera… but without seeing each other. Talk about self control!
What a wedding! Hands down, this was the coldest wedding day we had in 2021. It actually is in our top 5 for coldest wedding in 10 years. But Corrine and Bradley and their families were soooo awesome.
They could have said no way and had indoor photos at Belvedere but Corrine wanted the water and the city feel. They trusted us to get through their shot list. They huddled together behind the scenes. We photoshopped hair flys, the pink/purple in hands, but they kept smiles throughout all the segments. The whole day was lovely. Corrine and her girls got ready at her parents house on the water, while the guys got ready at a hotel in Baltimore. They did a first look on the Baltimore waterfront. They trusted us when we had to switch locations of where to do a first look and where all their portraits would be. The Four Seasons waterfront was a wind tunnel… it would have been a shipwreck of hair and dresses. Everyone including us would have been miserable. But we found a spot that would still capture Baltimore, the Domino Sugar sign, and the feel of a city with a waterfront. We weren’t escaping the high 30 degree temps,, but we did escape the 20+ mph wind that day on the waterfront.
So this session is another one of our beloved Fells Point session and it’s so good! Brittany and Joe, what a duo. When we met these guys in person, we knew it would be a blast to cruise around town and also get dinner afterwards. Brittany is vibrant and full of joy… and Joe is calm, collect and sweet… we’ve always said we have the prettiest people on the planet, and I believe it, don’t you!
Joe happens to be one of our past groom’s (Fadi) best friend, so it was super cool for us to be able to work with him, while he’s seen us do our thing! Brittany and Joe, you guys did sooo good. Thanks for trusting us! Can’t wait for what’s ahead!
Aww ya! Another wedding with babies! In this case, 1 super cute ring bearer named Becket! But I have to back up a little bit before we talk about this wedding day. Patrick and I met Aubrey and Tim back in the summer when we did their engagement session that turned partially into a family session. We told them in our first meeting that we love it when couples include their furbabies and or their babies… they shared with us that they had a little boy and the coolest part… their Beckett and our Levi were born a month apart… so we knew exactly what season they were in and it was something we could relate too. These lovebirds live in California (and hopefully will move back here soon!) so we meet them in person at their session, where we crushed the property to capture their love story and family.
We are so excited for Gemma and Sean’s engagement session to be live on the blog. These guys did amazing. They weren’t nervous and if anything they were excited to finally meet us in person. We were all excited to cruise around Baltimore city together. These guys were a three hour engagement session for us allowing us to do two locations with ample time to get them variety and beautiful segments. We started in Fells point up near Henderson’s Wharf and did the whole stretch in Fells Point ending up down past Bond Street! Before sunset we hopped in the car and headed over to Federal Hill starting at the marina at the Rusty Scupper where we would get classic Domino Sugar backdrops near the Ritz Carlton and then soon after get beautiful marina is with Baltimore skyline. We knew the sun was dropping fast so we headed up, and I mean we literally hiked Fed Hill from the bottom to get up to the corner. These guys are getting married at the Four Seasons next year so it was only appropriate to do a segment with the hotel in the background from Fed Hill. We finished their segment on the Fed Hill west side facing ravens stadium at the request of our groom. We’ve been getting the prettiest sunsets these days.
This was such a fun session! First off, it was so pretty! The lighting for Margot and Ian’s session was nothing short of dreamy! We cruised all around the grounds at Cylburn arboretum. Margot and Ian were in town with her parents (and pup) and soon after their session they would drive back home to NY. I loved that her parents got to see us do our thing too! While we wish they lived closer, we know when we do see them, it’s going to be for their wedding! Margot and Ian, we are so excited for our time with you in 2023! Enjoy this season, it will go so fast, so soak up every moment you can!
Doing siblings weddings is always and has always been special for us.
3 1/2 years ago we shot a wedding for a couple named Seth and Megan. It was beautiful and so much fun. That day I met her whole family, including her sister Katie. Katie is sweet and fun and beautiful. When Katie got engaged to Mitch we were so honored that they reached out to us to want to to photograph their day. Even more special was the fact that my past couple, Megan and Seth, gifted us to their siblings as their wedding present. Holy Moly! I am beyond blessed and honored and don’t take that for granted. So Megan and Seth thank you.
I met Gloria and Roger through a coworker and former bride, Marlina a few years ago and was so excited when she wanted to work with us! Their wedding was in downtown Havre de Grace at Vandiver Inn and it was so cute! We even took a little trip to head down toward the lighthouse. What we didn’t realize was that there was a huge fundraising festival going on and the park was packed! Gloria and Roger quickly became famous and they handled the crowd so well. We were able to get beautiful portraits by the water and they even had time to read their vows for one another privately. Roger wrote his vows in Spanish for her with the help of a few friends! It was a great Vietnamese and El Savadorian affair at reception with people from both sides of the family struggling their way through the macarena! What a blast. It was great to see you both again and thank you so much for including us on your special day!
We met these sweethearts at another wedding for their friends Mallory and DJ a few years back and it was so much fun to see everyone again at Mandy and Chris’ wedding! These two had such a memorable engagement session driving around Locust Point and Fed Hill hitting all of the iconic spots. On their wedding day, they tackled the rain, even as it sprinkled through the ceremony they held true to what was most important: getting married. They read their vows to one another (after a rock, paper, scissors for who would go first) and then partied the night away. Complete with a full service ice cream truck, their reception was a rockin’ time. We can’t wait to see your final film from Living Radiant Films and relive your beautiful day! Thank you for bearing with us all through the rain, you had an incredible day and we are thankful to have been a part of it!
Sharing this wedding is so awesome! Krissy and DJ are one of our rescheduled couples from last year. In fact I was not even supposed to be at Krissy and DJ’s wedding as we had told them last March prior to reschedule and prior to Covid that I was pregnant and may not be able to be at their wedding. We were super bummed because I was so looking forward to shoot their wedding. Then Covid hit. Then they reschedule their wedding. Then I had a baby last July. All that to say I had the honor of shooting Krissy and DJ’s wedding along side my husband this past August. Krissy and DJ got married at the famous Pier 5 hotel in Baltimore Maryland. This venue is a waterfront venue that has beautiful views of the city and waterfront.
