There are some wedding days that feel like they were dipped in sunshine, wrapped in love, and sprinkled with the sweetest sentimental touches — and Samantha & Matt’s Herrington on the Bay wedding was exactly that. From the soft gold and champagne details to the breathtaking waterfront sunset, every moment was elegant, emotional, and beautifully them.

Samantha’s morning began surrounded by the most important women in her life, sipping mimosas and sharing laughter before slipping into her timeless gown. One of the standout moments of the morning was a framed illustration gifted to Sam and her mom — a custom drawing of the two of them on the wedding day. Watching Sam gift this to her mom was such a heartfelt, emotional highlight.

Meanwhile, Matt and his guys got ready just a few buildings away, helping each other with bowties and cufflinks. The camaraderie, the jokes, and the quiet excitement — it all set the tone for the day ahead.

Their details were a photographer’s dream: gold-rimmed rings, creamy florals, signature vow books, custom paper suites, and Sam’s stunning ring box with her initial. Everything was soft, refined, and cohesive — a perfect complement to the coastal romance at Herrington on the Bay.

From the vow books to the wax-sealed invitations to the perfume, shoes, and heirlooms, Sam crafted a thoughtful collection that photographed beautifully.

Sam’s bridesmaids wore the most elegant champagne gowns, each one slightly unique in neckline and draping, but perfectly coordinated. Against the glistening water, the entire bridal party looked like something out of a magazine. Their energy was contagious — joyful, supportive, and so excited for their girl. Matt’s groomsmen matched the timeless look with classic black tuxes and bowties, bringing sophistication to every moment.

Herrington on the Bay always delivers, but Sam & Matt’s ceremony felt especially magical. Set beneath the wooden pergola with the bay sparkling behind them and florals cascading down the posts — it was truly breathtaking. They exchanged heartfelt vows, shared the sweetest first kiss, and then Matt dipped Sam for their recessional kiss! So sweet and celebratory!

Walking into their reception tent felt like stepping into a dream. Flowing ceiling drapery, cascading greenery, twinkle lights, gold accents, soft ivory florals… it was romantic and timeless.

A long farmhouse head table was lined with candlelight, clear plates with gold edging, and modern, minimal menus tied with ribbon. Every detail was thoughtful and polished.

Guests ate, laughed, toasted, and celebrated under sparkling chandeliers entwined with greenery — a setting that perfectly matched Sam & Matt’s classic style.

As the sun began to set, we stole Sam and Matt away to the dock — and WOW. The soft pastel sky wrapped around them like a watercolor painting. Their veil floated in the breeze, the water was glassy, and every frame felt effortless. Then came blue hour. Romantic, cinematic, truly iconic. These two looked like they stepped out of a timeless love story.

Their reception was lively, emotional, and full of laughter. From joyful dances to heartfelt speeches to a moonlit moment at the end of the night, Sam and Matt celebrated surrounded by all their favorite people — a theme they intentionally wove into their seating chart titled “Our Favorite People.”
