This wedding was planned within two weeks. With about 20 people, Olivia and Matt said “I Do” in the presence of intimate family and friends. Olivia’s mom reached out to me two days before the wedding. I had to laugh because I’ve never been contracted for a wedding in under 48 hours and it was the easiest experience! Working with Olivia and her family was so sweet and easy. The day of the wedding it had stormed and poured…and it was torrential rains. Upon arriving to their private home the skies had totally cleared and the weather was beautiful and sun was out. Amazing favor for sure!
I got to do some getting ready segments for Olivia and Matt followed by an intimate ceremony. The reaction of a groom never ceases to amaze me… the first time of him seeing his bride whether in front of 20 people or 250, it’s always soo good.
I absolutely loved being a part of this day. The family was great to work with and they were so patient and flexible in the midst of lots of last-minute logistics and planning with the weather. Debbie, Gary, Olivia, and Matt… Thank you so much for choosing us to document your wedding.
Even though I’m not your photographer for next year’s wedding part 2, I can only imagine how amazing it will be due to your flexibility, your intentionality, and your sweet spirits. Thank you for giving me JOY in what I do. So much had been robbed emotionally from me due to Covid, the pandemic, having to reschedule 21 of our own couples. Being able to do what I love again means more than you will ever know. We would have shot our 200th wedding in June and you guys are our 5th wedding this year, regardless of people count or what the day would look like, was incredible. We wish you guys the best. Thanks again so much for including us in your day!
