I don’t like to say we have favorite weddings, but when we photograph friends and people we’ve known for years it’s really hard not to be really excited to show up and document their love story.
Megan and Steven are one of those couples. We met these two through one of our couples Heather and Tyler. Steve has been in and at a handful of weddings and we met Megan a couple years into knowing Heather and Tyler. Steve and Tyler have been friends for a really long time, so this whole relationship/friendship web has been so fun!
Megan and Steve went the traditional route with a non-first look day. Maggie spent the morning with Megan and her babes and cruised Harbor East earlier in the day. Patrick spent the morning with Steve and the guys at their townhouse downtown where Steve shared a sweet first look with his mom and soon after went to one of his favorite pubs with his groomsmen.
Ceremony was in Baltimore at a beautiful cathedral and Megan was escorted into the church by her two brothers down the aisle. With a bouquet on the first pew to honor her dad, he watched on proudly as his sons handed her over to Steve. I love Steve’s reaction, you’ll have to scroll to see it. The joy and happiness exuded from these two is so evident. There’s so much beauty in this day from great vendors, hair and makeup artists, florals, food, even a raw bar and signature drinks crafted by Copper Kitchen at the Mt Washington Dye House! Their memory table, gorgeous guest book, and mirrored seating chart were great additions to their day. Oh and barley, we can’t forget that precious pup’s appearance right after ceremony!
Megan and Steve, what a day! We love you and hope your photos and film let you relive the day for the rest of your life! Xo
