This wedding resonates with my Spanish heritage… Well actually, i don’t really have any Spanish heritage but I am bilingual and rusty. Haha!!
Kelley and Jose met overseas while Kelley was pursuing the Peace Corp in Paraguay! they enjoyed each other so much that a long distance relationship didn’t cut it. Jose applied for his visa and after long anticipation, he was able to come to the states just a couple months before the wedding!
Their sweet ceremony was in English and Spanish as was the best mans speech by his brother Javier who flew in with his parents for the wedding! The reception was so amazing and I have to say, I have a sweet spot for regeetone salsa. I even refrained from busting some moves on the dance floor a couple times.
They had family and friends fly in from all over the world literally, even a good handful of the G38 peace Corp group was there! It was a great 100 person reunion with laughter, dancing, and lots of cheers! At the end of the night, they threw in New Years themed parafanilia and danced like no body cared!
