Some love stories unfold in the most magical of ways—and Imran and Katy’s proposal in the heart of Washington, DC was nothing short of unforgettable.
The two strolled through the gardens, surrounded by lush greenery and timeless architecture, before arriving at the gorgeous fountains that set the stage for this life-changing moment. With the Capitol dome peeking in the background, Imran got down on one knee and asked Katy the most important question of his life.
Katy’s joyful “yes” lit up the cloudy day—and just like that, a new chapter in their story began.
As if the proposal wasn’t already cinematic enough, the skies decided to open up just after Imran popped the question. While some might see rain as an obstacle, it only added to the beauty of the moment. The light drizzle gave everything a dreamy glow, making their portraits feel both romantic and real. We always say rain on a proposal (or wedding day!) is just a little extra blessing, and Imran and Katy embraced it with laughter, kisses, and pure joy.
