Yah! This awesome October wedding is up on the blog today! And we couldn’t be more excited to share it! Hannah and Chris had a beautiful Hayfields country club wedding, a sister club to Turf Valley resort, with a stunning pond, spacious grounds and main club house. During the pandemic the club did renovations so the ballroom looked very different from when I was last there in 2014 photographing florals for Victoria Clausen.
The bridal suite was gorgeous! The groom’s suite has a golf simulator which looked awesome! Too bad I don’t know how to golf! Hannah and Chris both got ready at the venue the morning of, and decided not to do a first look. Hannah did share a first look with her dad and his reaction was so awesome! Chris saw his mom moments before the ceremony at Loyola and loved their moments together before her son got married! The groomsmen headed to the church for their photo separates and all the bridesmaid portraits were done pre-ceremony at Hayfields. The ceremony at the church was lovely! They got married at Loyola Chapel which we love and have shot at multiple times. Right after their ceremony, we photographed all Hannah and Chris’ family segments, an awesome Loyola alum crew photo as well as a champagne spray photo for their wedding party!
Everyone headed back to Hayfields for a lovely cocktail hour and the kickoff to a wonderful reception. We loved Hannah and Chris’ sunset photos and are so excited for how they turned out. Reception was nothing short of laughter, wild dancing, hilarious but sweet speeches matched with awesome dance moves. The bouquet toss was neat as Hannah threw it from a balcony down to all the single ladies (queue the song)! Hannah and Chris, you guys had such an awesome day. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, your guests and wedding party were fun to work with and capture, and it was awesome for us to photograph a wedding at Hayfields Country Club.
