There’s a beautiful wedding up on the blog today! We met Chelsea and Josh through their venue! So thankful when venues refer couples to us when so many find us through wedding shows or google! A few months after that, we drove down to meet them at Skyline Drive for their destination engagement session. We cruised all over to get epic photos for them. Our time with them with special as we knew we were in for a great wedding day with them. Josh and Chelsea’s got married at the Hunt Valley Country Club wedding in Timonium on an October day that was forecasted to rain but we totally lucked out! It was beautiful and overcast… my favorite lighting!
With a morning full of hair and makeup, excited nerves, and anticipation, both Chelsea and Josh got ready for their big day. Chelsea shared a first look with her dad and Josh shared a family reveal with his mom and sister. I loved Chelsea’s details and her gown. Although they did not do a first look, they did a first touch in which they backed up to the tree, got to touch and talk before ceremony which always builds excitement! But never saw each other until walking down the aisle. The ceremony was under the outdoor tent with a tent flip afterwards for cocktail hour. We spent cocktail hour photographing family and wedding party followed by photos on the green of our newlyweds.
When Chelsea and Josh hired us she knew she wanted photos on the stunning bridge off property! I was so excited because I knew I wanted it for them too. We just had to make sure we could time it right. By the time we headed down to the bridge and it started to sprinkle and rain a little bit plus we were chasing daylight, literally. Thankfully, we bring umbrellas to every wedding just in case weather it is not on our side. We were able to get them some really pretty and a little bit dramatic newlywed photos on the bridge with umbrellas. Be sure to scroll down to see those! Chelsea and Josh, thank you so much for trusting us to go down to a bridge and climb some concrete barriers to get to it. We love the couples who love a good adventure on their wedding day.
Both Chelsea and Josh were able to dance with parents as well as friends and family throughout the night. I especially loved the last hour of the night we were able to dance with our couple. They invited all vendors onto the dance floor! Lovebirds, we absolutely loved being alongside you all day. Thanks for trusting us on such an incredible day in your life. We believe wedding days are kick offs to amazing marriages as it’s a reflection of your commitment to each other. We wish you the best and hope to see you again soon!
