There’s something incredibly special about returning to a place that holds part of your own love story. For us, Sherwood Gardens will always be meaningful—it’s where we had our own engagement session 12 years ago. So when Camille and Peter chose that same location for theirs, it felt like everything came full circle.
Despite the crowds (because Sherwood in peak tulip season is always buzzing), we found the most beautiful pockets of peace among the blooms. The tulips were showing off in every direction, and Camille and Peter brought so much warmth and ease to the space. Their connection is the kind that’s quiet but powerful, and photographing them felt effortless.
We ended the evening with dinner at Mt. Washington Mill Dye House, and what was meant to be a simple dinner turned into hours of conversation, laughter, and celebration—we actually closed the restaurant down!
Camille and Peter, thank you for trusting us with this moment in your journey. Being in a place that means so much to us, capturing the start of your forever, was truly an honor. We cannot wait to celebrate with you on your wedding day!
