Every summer our family ventures off to what we feel like is heaven on earth. We drive 12 hours north and find ourselves isolated in a cabin, 15 feet from a crystal clear lake. We don’t like sharing where exactly we go, as its sacred and precious to us… and we like it that way, free from tourists and lake hunters.
A few friends have been inquiring about how Patrick is doing with all things baseball. The answer… incredible.
To bring you up to date, Wink Nolan is in Colorado this summer, playing for the Trinidad Triggers, a professional baseball team in the Pecos League, an independent baseball league out in the mid-west.
In January of 2012, Lindsey had Summit… I got to witness her birth and
am so thankful Lindsey asked me to be there. Summit is 18 months now,
and I can’t even believe it. I wanted to rewind a year and a half ago to
the day we surprised Lindsey for a Baby Shower, which was a few days
before she went into labor. She thought she was having a double date
with Patrick, Cameron, and I… little did she know she was about to be
SHOWERED!
A few weeks ago, I got to be part of Lydia Harrison’s sweet 16! I loved
photographing this, one because I love her and her family, and two, I
wanted them to have some great memories from the night! Pastor Kelly
and Helen, her parents, threw her a sweet 16 bash! Her family threw her a
sweet 16 bash with tons of friends, dancing, and food!
Just the other day, I sat in a room at the doctors office waiting to be
seen. From another room a baby was SCREAMING at the top of its lungs. I
am still unsure as to why the baby was screaming, but all I could think
of was its tears. The screaming was giving me such a headache, but then I
thought, “That baby sure will sleep good after crying so much.”
